Honestly, besides Abbie Emmons and StoryEmbers, the thing that’s been the most helpful in plotting is a whiteboard. XD At our current house we have a huge whiteboard on the wall, and being able to fill it with all the plot points and character arc beats and random notes is spectacular. *happy sigh*

@acancello Ooooh, I love A Rose in Bloom! The way Alcott developped the characters from Eight Cousins and kept them realistic was incredibly intriguing. Charlie absolutely broke my heart. *fp* But Mac is amazing, and Archie is still the best. XD And Jamie is always the sweetest.

I work at an orchard! It’s really nice because it’s time outside, not using the creative side of my brain. With how much effort Author takes, it’s a huge blessing to be able to turn my brain on autopilot for a while.😂

Yes, I agree; Biblical fiction is a weighty challenge to take on. The amount of research and study that has to go into it is one of the reasons I’m holding off on trying it. Oof, yes, I get that. Same here. I need to finish my novel by the end of July, so I’ve got to figure out how to balance that and starting work full time(ish). When does work start for you? Where are you working?
