Hi! Nice to meet you!
I know…my sister @grcr warned me about that. lol A lot of people seem to be writing fiction, but I think there is plenty of room for both. And both can help to expand God’s kingdom. Hmm…mostly essays for now, but I hope to start on a fictional book soon too.
Ohh…I never heard of those. I will have to look…[Read more]

Let me know if anything in this section sounds strange or unrealistic. Some parts feel a little awkward to me, and I want to know if it feels that way to other readers or if it’s just me.
In early September, the first cornshucking of the season took place. Mama had finally agreed that I was old enough to go,…[Read more]

@hybridlore @anyone
So, I decided to create a doc and just put all the characters I’ve created into it and do the questionnaire for each of them in there, but one thing I realized is that this questionnaire doesn’t necessarily work for non-major characters. Side characters aren’t supposed to be super fleshed out, they’re supposed to be flat, so…[Read more]

If I just tagged you and you aren’t interested, feel free to go away.
So…If you’re still around, and haven’t read the first chapter, look up. If you’re still around and you have read the first chapter, look down.
CHAPTER 2-…[Read more]

I do know how to tag people, but who would be interested? I do have two friends, but at the time I posted that, they we nonexistent. Should I just tag people I know?
I like your idea of adding Nahim in, it’s probably the only advice I’ve gotten about this chapter that doesn’t ruin my purpose at all.
Actually, funny you should…[Read more]

This is a good idea! 😃 (Can I share my questionnaire answers?)

A lot of these are things I ask already, but it’s useful to see them all in the same place.
One question though: what does “weakest character traits” refer to? Is that for negative traits, or does it relate to how dominant that trait is in their personality? It might be better to rephrase those two as “strengths” and “weakness…[Read more]

They are SO good. I’ve probably listened to the whole series four or five times, and read/listened to selective books when I get bored. My sister and I listened to the whole series with my dad a few years ago, and he loved them (he cried), and my mom is almost finished reading On the Edge of the Dark Sea to all of us kids. My favorite…[Read more]

SLAYING SARAAAA ✨✨ replied to the topic Writing abuse in an allegory in the forum Plotting 3 years ago
Well, I’ve asked myself that question multiple times. So since it’s an allegory, I think it was needed to show that God accepts us out of many different situations and no matter what we’ve been told, we’re always loved. It also builds the romantic aspect between the two MC’s because one comforts the other during flashbacks (thought…[Read more]

Yeah, violists don’t have an E string.
Oh, nice! Man, it’ll take me forever to figure out what to put down there. So many books have so many good quotes!
I know this is kind of random, but have you ever read The Wingfeather Saga?

Brianne replied to the topic Hello! in the forum Start HERE 3 years ago
Yeah, I definitely like viola better, because of the sound, I guess. I don’t really know, but it just fits me better.
My inspiration for my WIP was a bunch of different books and one of my friends, who loves to imagine and make up stories and write.
I love your little quote thingy at the bottom of every post you make.

Thanks!
I think in the beginning, the style of the writing was kind of confusing. Overall it does give the idea of like, very choppy thoughts, sort of less established, so if that’s what you were going for, then great job. I just think that it might throw readers off a little. I also noticed that the scene with Tailen alone in the r…

Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it!
I did a pencil sketch, went over it in pen, erased the pencil, and then colored it with prismacolor colored pencils.

Thanks for the tag!! (:
Hi! I love writing fantasy, as well as sci-fi.
Viola sounds so cool! I play guitar as well as a bit of piano and cello. I’ve never been out of the states lol, but I think it would be cool.

Bucky is kinda hard to draw, but I realized he has such unique facial features, and once you get them right it looks like him. I had a lot of fun with this XD

I love CC. It’s a little expensive though, especially for a Challenge kid, but it’s the best homeschool co-op we’ve found around where I live. For American Documents, we don’t have chapters we read, but we read documents from American history and Annotate and summarize some of them. Readin gis fine, but Annotating and summarizing are…[Read more]

Do you happen to do Classical Conversations? i take Exposition (persuasive essays), latin, Math, American documents, formal debate, logic, and science. Science is okay, but the chapters are like soooo long and I’m not a science geek so, if you ask me what I just read about, I’m not going to give you a rundown. In other words, I wasn’t…[Read more]

I asked about the role plays because I don’t really know how common they are. In YWW they have a time each month called Story Day that’s usually 2-3 days where students can RP to their heart’s content for a few days straight. It’s absolute chaos. I was in one…[Read more]
