I don’t really know your characters, but as long as they are different enough in other respects, I think it’s fine. Most people are protective of something, so it makes sense that characters would be too.

I don’t play too much for my own enjoyment, but when I do it is often hymns, which I arrange myself. I also play music in church, so I have to practice that.
Hymns are awesome. My dad has talked about getting my siblings and I to play at church, but we don’t want to. And we already have a flute guy.
RP stands for Role Play. Basically we h…

He shook his head at Hugo’s question, letting the c…[Read more]

Awesome! I’ve read all of those except Stormlight 4, which I’m in the middle of. Are you about to read Yumi then, since your in the middle of the secret projects?
I will probably read The Sunlit Man first, since that one is available at my library. I had Yumi, but alas, it was returned before I read it. ☹️
Yeah, I’m not sure, lol!…

Hello! Your projects sound really cool. I love fantasy.
Some of my favorite authors are Tolkien and Brandon Sanderson.
They are some of my favorites too!
I play piano as well. I like it sometimes. What kind of music do you like to play? I enjoy hymns, and my brother is obsessed with jazz, ragtime, and blues. (I’ve heard Peacherine Rag at…[Read more]

I have not forgotten about Ellie&Seb. I am just going to wait a little longer for @godlyfantasy12 in hopes that a couple subplots are not buried :]

Do you want help pinning down his traits? I’ve just noticed you mention how hard it is to write Alpha quite often.

Yep, Grandpa Smedry is the best! So you’ve read Alcatraz, and you mentioned Kaladin earlier, what other Sanderson books have you read?
I’ve read Skyward, Tress of the Emerald Sea, A Frugal Wizard’s Guide to Surviving Medieval England, and all of the Stormlight Archive except Dawnshard, which I think I have from the library, but i…[Read more]

Hello!
Cool Username
Thanks!
I did make an intro post, but Wyoh ate it 😠
How dare she! I got a notification that you had posted here, but then I couldn’t find it and was very confused.
It all began when a mysterious person posted one singular post on an RP, then deleted their account. The one post was their only post, and KPÂ showed not the…

We don’t really hike in our state, (IN), either. I’ve never been to New Hampshire, so I don’t know how they compare. I have seen pictures of the west though, and it’s beautiful. I definitely want to go there someday.

I’m much more of a hard worldbuilder myself, but I have strong respect for soft worldbuilding when done right. (If you need help with ideas for hard stuff, I’d love to help if such help is wanted!)
Thanks! A few tips would be nice, but I’m mostly focusing on my other WIPs right now.
I love Alcatraz! Have you read the full seri…

Ok I know some characters still haven’t been introduced, and I’m probably completely wrong, but my theory is that Everton will win because he found that four leaf clover.

Wait, all 23 of them will die? Isn’t that all of them?
I thought the point was to have a winner who takes all.

@whalekeeper MORE PLEASE!!
also….
oh no……
Crosshair’s gonna be pulled away from his brothers and sister all over again!! That’s gonna be sad. Unless you have him as part of the Empire at this point.
meanwhile, Mundy won’t care. He’ll probably be alone when he gets teleported….? There’s a squad he’s with, but they’d probably willingly ha…[Read more]

Alpha is the most complex and hardest character to capture I have ever written.
As he ages, he changes drastically which doesn’t help me at all. Nahim is easier cuz before he was fifteen, he was a jolly kid. After the Laxan Invasion he changed a lot but then the arc just goes up and he becomes wiser as he grows older and doesn’t change to much.…[Read more]
