Allen
“Sorry about that.” Allen told Layson as the other man backed away from the blaster’s barrel. “I had to get close to get a clear shot in.”
He fired at the beast again. It screeched out and snapped at him, but he darted away from it.
Battle training with his father had definitely been…[Read more]

@esther-c I’ll insert another charrie of mine just for this one, because he’s hilarious like that.
What is your favorite food or meal?
Jareth
I have a lot! Although I will agree that chocolate is awesome!
Echo (Jareth’s uncle)
Blueberries………*licks lips* You’re making me hungry. (He has this weird obsession with them.)

I think that with Race to the Edge it was mostly surprising in how certain side characters actually had arcs (especially nowadays). It was also really cool how any developments in the show were used in the following movie— it actually tied in to the overall plot. And that was a level of thought that isn’t usually put in to spin…[Read more]

Wow… all this fourth dimension stuff is extremely difficult for tiny human minds to comprehend. *my Martian doppelgänger chuckles from across the room*
I like mold. (Not if it’s on my food, but I think it is really cool otherwise.) One of my dream stories to write in the future is set in a world full of gian…[Read more]

@thearcaneaxiom Yep, it is fun watching Clone Wars and Rebels and exploring the backstory of everything. (And The Bad Batch too, although I’m not sure if you’ve seen that one yet. I actually used the characters from that as my first six protagonists)
I have to get off now and do some stuff with my brother–but I’m totally open to chatting more…[Read more]

@thearcaneaxiom Don’t know, I don’t speak it. I don’t think it’s super developed, but there are a couple words in it, y’know?

@thearcaneaxiom Yeah, Dr. Lisle called it “a tiny glimpse into the infinite mind of God,” and I was inclined to agree with him.
The fractal grapher software has like five different fractal types you can make with it……I think you could make some cool art with it, if your computer/tablet can run the iterations….

Allen
Serin jetted straight for the fountain in the center of the room, and he couldn’t blame her. It looked inviting, even to him.
Until she let out a snarl as something leaped out of the water, shoving her to the side.
Allen pointed his blaster at it as it rose taller. It was not a creature…[Read more]

@thearcaneaxiom Canon. The people of Mandalore still speak it…and the CloneWings are based predominantly off of the clone troopers. Clones of Jango Fett, a Mandalorian, or at least raised by them. Of course, the Icewraiths didn’t come into existence with the clones, so I gave them a bit of backstory.

@thearcaneaxiom Would it? I don’t know, this is just a very interesting conversation.
There’s a book I own, called Fractals: The Secret Code of Creation, by Christian astrophysicist Jason Lisle. He created his own plotting software for fractal graphing–and has a link to it in the book, so that’s pretty awesome.

@loopylin That comic is too funny….
Crosshair
“Ah…hello?” came a voice. A man stepped out of the shadows.
For a second, in the dim light, Crosshair almost thought the man was his brother Hunter. But this character lacked Hunter’s distinctive facial markings, or the red bandanna that he always wore.
He lowered his rifle, but…[Read more]

@thearcaneaxiom No, actually. The CloneWings come from a Star Wars fanfiction where all of the humans and aliens and whatever else are actually dragons. “Kote” is a word supposedly meaning “glory” from the Mando’an language of that universe. The Icewraith kind hailed from the same planet as that language, so his name is from it. I did pull…[Read more]

@thearcaneaxiom Yep, totally get it. We have lots of fractals in our world, but they have to stop at a certain point because they’re made of non-fractal atoms. But I mean, in a fantasy world like yours, you can really do anything, so…I’d say go for it!!

@thearcaneaxiom I like your art!
And on the dragon question, the CloneWings’ icebreath was predominantly used for defense at one point in time. They have long since adopted the use of guns and other weapons like every other tribe, but they still use it as a last resort.
Genetic studies indicate that some ancient CloneWings–or Icewraiths as…[Read more]

@thearcaneaxiom I like that!! Although since they’re four-dimensional, 3D us can’t see them and can only get grabbed by a bunch of random clawed cylinders…and maybe an eye or two….and a mouth that is definitely real…..lol

Hello!! I’m Keilah. I see you like songs. Smell the Color 9 is a good one.
Weird thing: If you’re an 80’s person, what’s your opinion on the movies from that period? I know Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back was released in 1980, and the first Tron was released two years later. Those were both cool, although Tron had a really choppy…[Read more]
