Yes, things are declining, but we don’t have to worry or fret because we can trust in God. 🙂

This also just shows the need for you, and Kingdom Pen, and Christians to get back involved in shaping the culture and our institutions.

Maybe one day Kingdom Pen can create it’s own online software as an alternative to NaNoWriMo.

Thanks! Glad you liked it. Owl City has definitely been an influence.

Do you have any recordings of your singing anywhere online?

This is such a cool topic! I’m always looking to add new vocalists for my songs!

I sing by necessity but I don’t really consider myself a singer since I don’t particularly like my voice and don’t think that I’m very good. Here’s an example.

Hence why I’m always trying to find new vocalists.

Really cool songs @Samuel-p-robbins! Definitely sound like they could be soundtracks to a novel.

Definitely a touching story. What can we do to restore what was great about Kingdom Pen in the past?

@devastate-lasting That’s awesome! Which DAW are you thinking of getting?

@Leon-fleming Thanks! And that’s cool you’ve written some songs too! And I can totally understand the struggle of finding the time. It’s definitely been hard for me to keep up with both music and writing.

And that’s great you’ve got a couple of my songs! Glad you like them!

Well I’d love to hear anything you have!

And by micro-genre I mean you want to get really niched down as far as what genre your music falls into.

If you try to target fans of piano music for example, you’re a very small fish in a very big pond, and even if you are discovered, your music isn’t as likely to resonate.

Instead you want to dig…[Read more]

I absolutely love this idea!

Here is my latest work-in-progress…

Andromeda Coast · Robot City – Demo

Ah, cool! Yeah, I’m pretty sure he had a different bandmate(s) at the time.

Piano-pop/piano-rap…kinda like Twenty One Pilots then? Haha! That’s cool!

Ah, so more of a getting started with marketing advice?

I’m personally about going the Indie route and not signing to a label these days.

I actually have a guide that gives an overview of how…[Read more]

Welcome @not-so-secret-secret-assassin !

What video games do you like to play?

Glad to have you here!

Hi Samuel! It’s great to have you here!

Congrats on already having a novella finished! And Fantasy and Sci-fi are right up my alley! My first novel, and the one I’m currently rewriting, is actually called “Frozen Fire”, which sounds pretty similar to “Fire and Ice”. haha!

And hey, another music composer! I do as well! Do you have any recorded…[Read more]

Pretty sure it was before Vessels came out, so I don’t know what album that would have been.

I write all of the music for my songs. I just use virtual instruments for the most part, and yeah, other software to arrange and mix. Here’s a short clip of what it looks like.

And nothing to be nervous about! Everyone starts somewhere! 🙂

Are you…[Read more]

1. I actually didn’t know about his old stuff. I just remember my sister showing a video of him performing “Trees” live at a small local place in Columbus Ohio and talking about how cool it was she went to school with him. That was before they went big. The school was Worthington Christian. She didn’t actually know him personal, just knew who he…[Read more]

Welcome!

1. I love TwentyOne Pilots! My sister actually went to school with Tyler Joseph, and I started a band with a guy who used to play with him.

2. Rak Chazak!

3. That’s so cool you’re a songwriter! So am I! I actually have a Synth-pop band called Andromeda Coast. Do you write any music as well?

Glad to have you back!
