Eh, he’s just 17. You can call him boy for another few years without it being weird. XD
Deductions…
He’s gentle and tender hearted. He has a strong faith in God and tries to share it with his friends, if he has any.
He loves nature and animal, especially birds. He likes to draw the world around him, and maybe has a special notebook…[Read more]

Ok, that’s just beautiful! The pictures and messages are most of them sad/dark, but it’s so aesthetic that I keep coming back to look at it. You did such a good job bringing the different pictures together.
Love them both! The character claims do fit them very well.
Their stories are just… Sniff. I really want more Leon…[Read more]

That’s awesome! I can sympathize.
Some other question ideas:
Will Snoden and/or Hewson be in this next book?
When did he start writing stories?
What’s one writing habit to avoid?
Does he think his connection to the Zulu tribes inspire anything in Green Ember? If so, what?
Who was Wilfred’s first wife/family he lost?
Will there…[Read more]

@loopylin Speaking of wise women,
Mother: That guy… He looks like, like…
Us: Gandalf!
Mother: Yes!
Us: In a button down flannel shirt!
Mother: What is he doing at Brookshire’s?
(Really happened. We saw Gandalf walk out of a local grocery store dressed like a country bumkin. It was unnerving.)
Me*holding up cast*: You know, this is such…[Read more]

Those are great. Coworker conversations are the best and worst things to overhear. XD

Why do you ask? (To you, Whaley, not Master Smith)

Oh my. Ok. Um…
We know what his favorite cookie is. 🤔
Ack, that’s a good question but my brain is blanking. Something with writing or his time in Africa…
Maybe which one if his characters is his favorite?
*Wonders if I wasted my hypothetical question* XD

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic Is there a trope you don't see very often that you love? in the forum Topic of the Week 4 weeks, 1 day ago
The wise fool!!!Where one character is expected to be foolish/silly and instead is incredibly wise. So, there’s a book, A Letter for the King, that took this trope literally, and is spectacular. In the book, Tirillo is the king’s fool, but he’s also secretly a paladin knight and has this incredible wisdom that shows up in the…[Read more]

Thank you! 😊
Thanks! It’s actually a joust of sorts. The prince and his companion were at the tilting yard with a seasoned knight. Something just went horribly wrong, and Deniz is going to try to stop a galloping horse.

@loopylin @koshka @whalekeeper
Thank y’all! Your comments made me smile and do little happy dances. 🙂
@Kitty
(That isn’t a bad idea)
@loopy
Thanks! The perspective was what made me want to draw it in the first place.
@Whaley
It was too boring without the shading/fur. I came back and added it on a whim. I don’t know how much of it is…[Read more]

I did my first full-page scene illustration since I was 10! lol. I think it came off better than those old ones. I tried scanning again… Not sure what I think of it. XD
This is for one of @koshka ‘s stories. Sorry Deniz’s horse didn’t make it on set too.
(Kitty, if you ever give me this kind of heart attack, I’ll do the assassin’s job for him.)

The drawing and the keychain are adorable. I like how you brought it to life.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing! I love them both! They’re both great sections. The second is probably my favorite. Partially for the way it’s paced. It’s active and a great look at their new normal.
And of course Leon is there being the guy I’ve loved from the start, even if he…[Read more]

That’s hilarious and fantabulously awesome. Glad to hear you’ve had a good time. =D Now you have experience for how the dance at Destina will work!
I am happily viewing it like a ball in Jane Austen. -

Reuven&Friends
Days like this should be double pay for the teachers. Reuven watched bemused as students either passed notes or whispered behind their textbooks. The coming dance had been referenced so much in the last half hour that the teacher had begun to narrow his eyes at any whisper that sounded…[Read more]

I’m, back!
He’s getting mischievous on me. lol.
I’m playing with accent stuff. I think he pronounces some words “wrong” in the series, as his accent is a mix of places. Although it doesn’t make sense here. Oh well. XD

Maybe I’ll get around to making a topic for it, then!
Definitely! it would be fun to see what different approaches we all take on the same inspiration.
Hm… *Does not want to say too much*

Lol. Do that then. It was about the fifth time I got lost reading that book, and the library wanted it back before I managed to find my ground again. I apretiate his detailed planning though. Lots of skill.
My family likes the Focus on the Family radio theater edition.

That would be neat!
I like the doodles. Baby Marcel is cute. Does his culture not cut a boy’s hair until he’s in knickers/four/weaned/school age? (I think I mixed several cultures in that oddly specific question..) (He reminds me of Little Lord Fontleroy, only smug.)

Yep and yep. Agree 100%
And…
Not the Waterloo tirade. XD I never found my interest in his books again after getting lost somewhere between the ditch with the cavalry and the dead guy who wasn’t actually dead.
