I don’t know a whole lot of YA as it’s not my main reading. But I do know some clean middle grade fiction, and some clean Christian “adult” fiction.

MG recommendation:

The Mysterious Benedict Society. While not Christian, it’s Very fun, completely clean action and adventure.

I have to ask. What is the plan with all these pigeons?

i imagine Paris is insufferable. He’s the dude who kidnapped Helen right?
(Sigh I need to read the Iliad. I need to find a good translation that’s easy-ish to read. I don’t mind a difficult read but it gets annoying sometimes.)

Hello there!

My answers:
I just like good old chocolate chip pancakes.

I could carry like- 10 pigeons probably, if some of them didn’t mind being stuffed in hoodie pockets. I might get annoyed with their poop and throw them off a cliff though.

I would have… hmm. Good question. Fire or lightning. Probably lightning, bc then I c…[Read more]

I like your description of it as a reimagining rather than an adaptation.

I loved the movie. Five stars, easily. And I personally liked some of the changes he made to the story/characters.

I have watched the movies and read the first 3 books. I love the movies and am not a fan of the books. lol

my problem with the books is mainly the crudity. Plus they’re just weird lol. I noticed a pattern where someone/something gets swallowed alive in every book XD

I actually haven’t read Cooper Kids, but my brothers have and they love it. I’m more into his “adult” books, like The Oath, House, and Monster.

pretty much all chocolate is good lol. I like dark and milk and white and brownies and all of them.

Ahh yes, the author of Wormwood Abbey, correct? My cousin has been trying to convince me to read it…[Read more]

Hey everybody. I see this is a random chat. I thrive on random chats. lol

some questions.

Anyone here heard of Frank Peretti? I don’t think he gets enough recognition in Christian circles.

Who likes chocolate?

Christopher Nolan anyone?

@ellette-giselle

id have to say my favorite character is either Albert (or wait, whoever the guy was who fell in love with Valentine de Villefort, I get the names mixed up) or Edmond himself. What about yours?

Hello! Yes I am new!

I highly recommend the Dune movies, though it might be better to read the book first to kind of- understand it. There’s a lot of lore that the movies skim over.

1. That’s easy. Sam.

1. that would depend on if the horse could fly or not.
