Issabelle Perry replied to the topic Any Urban Fantasy clean book recommendations? in the forum Book Discussions 3 years ago
I’ve just recently been introduced to urban fantasy, so I haven’t ever read any books, as knowledge serves, that are in that genre. (I believe I heard someone say @e-k-seaver novella The House That Didn’t End was urban fantasy. I *sniffs* sadly haven’t gotten my copy yet, but I think it’ll be REALLY epic!!!)
Anyway, urban fantasy’s…[Read more]

you didn’t have to cross the “better than a comedian” part out. I’ll take that compliment proudly.
Thanks for the story, the yoda quote, and tips. But honestly, time isn’t my problem. I have several hours of free time a day where I just lay down and stare up at the sky and contemplate my life and daydream about what could have…[Read more]

Tbh, the Lunar Chronicles.
I know, I know, I’m asking for the wrath of a huge fandom by saying this, but it’s true XD I used to really like the series, but upon looking back, it really wasn’t that great. Don’t get me wrong, the settings were creative and amazing, and I lovedddd the idea of a sci-fi fairytale retelling, but I think the only reason…[Read more]

My friend, though I can not relate to the muscles bulge, and I have never experienced so much protein and cursed yellow-spice on a sandwich, but when I was thirteen years old, I beat my brother, who was nearly sixteen, in the best arm-wrestling competition of my life.
But back to the present, yk voice to text…[Read more]

@not-so-secret-secret-assassin Oh wow, what a travesty. I wouldn’t say exactly my life fell apart, I merely moved on from my old life and started a new one. I died and moved on. But my writing life…my writing life became like the sandwich you described, yes.
@e-k-seaver I’m guessing 15, give or take.

Yeah, I agree that a lot of portrayals of the Robin Hood justified stealing. However, now I’m really curious about the original story and if it actually does that. Did you read the original version? Because the theme of “is stealing ever justified” could be a really interesting topic to explore in a novel. As it could delve into both…[Read more]

Oh no! What did I get myself into? 😉 Ok, Fort Apache is an old Western set in southwest Texas.
Our familyused to watch it and its sequel a lot.We kids liked it better than the sequel, because it had a funny scene with a group of children, while our mother liked the sequel better because it had a better plot, and sweet, thoughtful…[Read more] -

Yesss! You’ve read Viking Quest too! It’s so good, right? I love it, and it’s always beautiful, no matter how old I get. Just good writing, hands down.😁
I reread so many books. I am constantly rereading and rewatching things. However, if it comes to a series or book that didn’t age well for me … I think it’d have to be (
