Ooh, interesting! I think that dialogue fits super well for Dylan, especially since the lines are short. That goes well with his strong-willed personality, in my opinion! As for mine… they’re kinda short, so… XD
MC is Felicity, who is (also) strong-willed, stubborn, and tough, though she’s secretly quite caring.

The title says it all, folks. I just thought it might be fun to compare what your character says to see if the dialogue truly matches their personality or not.
So I’ll share mine first!
MC is Dylan, who is stubborn, quiet, and strong-willed. A little self-protective. Lmk if his dialogue fits his personality.

This is ALL too relatable, Lexi! The way I usually (try) to overcome writer’s block/burnout is picking up a different project. I have *counts Scrivener docs* 25 WIPs from the last 2 yrs. Not that they’re perfect. (Or finished.)
This way really helps me to take a step back and pick a project that I’ve been developing pre…[Read more]

*rubs hands together* Yup, I’m sure there’s been a topic about this already, but I’m starting a new one because I
am totallytoo lazy to searchwanted to ask… how do y’all get over writer’s burnout? *dun dun dun* So after finishing my novel, Last of Her Kind, the author side of me has been feeling super bummed about what I write and I’ve just be…[Read more] -

Oh my goodness, that’s a brilliant idea!!! I may do that, thank you!!! Sometimes even just writing about having writer’s burnout is super helpful, so that’s a great idea! 😀 And *gasps* aww, thank you so much! That seriously warms my heart to the fullest to know you were thrilled about that! *tears up* Oh my gosh, that’s the SWE…[Read more]

Hey Elfwing,
I agree! They did an epic job with Smaug!!
WOW! Eleven books! That’s a lot of commitment! Do you have a name for your series yet?
I enjoy reading/writing historical fiction too!
LOL! Great meme! Right on! If you want to make someone’s death heartbreaking…you have to make the reader care about them! 👍

*waves* Hullo! Things have been going well, though I haven’t done much writing as of late because I’m pretty sure I’ve hit writer’s burnout *awkward smile*. But I’ve been outlining both Echoes of Destiny, a possible romance novella idea, AND the second book of my series, Last of Her Kind, so that’s been interesting. 😉 I’ve been sk…[Read more]

Heyyyy!!! Writing’s been going pretty good. I started a new novel and have been loving it probably more than anything I’ve ever written. Life’s been mostly crazy, but I’ve been hanging in there. Oooo Skyward Sword sounds fun!! What is it exactly?

ahhh yes they totally ruined the Hobbit movies. Although I think they did a good job of Smaug
LoTR is my favourite book to read and I’ve listened through it several times too! Cool that you listen through it too! I have the unabridged audiobook copy narrated by Rob Inglis. I can fall asleep listening to that book now lol

Hiya Elfwing,
Thank you!😊
I have read the Hobbit and seen the movies. I’m not a fan of the movies though. 🙄 I’ve listened to an audio of the LOTRs and seen the movies. I really like both!
What are you working on?
Nice meeting you!:)

Dobro pozhalovat! (Did I get that right?) That’s so interesting, I’ve always found such an interest in Russian (and once thought about learning the language)! 😀 Awwh, don’t feel bad! I know my reply is WAY later than usual *checks calendar* (yikes, it’s nearly been a month?), so my sincerest apologies for that!! 🙁 (Things have been s…[Read more]

Hi Precious,
Nice to meet you too! That’s great! I’m really liking it so far!
C.S Lewis and Lowry are GREAT! Oooo!! I’ll have to check those out! Dwell Deep sounds similar to my WIP, The Inventor’s Daughter, so I’ll definitely try to read that! I’m open to any book referrals. It’s hard to find decent reads!
Your WIP sounds really cool!! I’m a…[Read more]

No you aren’t boring me; i don’t know what the shows are, so they might not mean as much, but i still think they’re cool! 🙂 good job! you are good at doing multiple drawings of the same character; that is one if the hardest things for me to do as an artist.
