@jadamae Novacom has to be one of my favorites as well. I am actually just starting to relisten to that series again. It probably has to be my favorite period in Odyssey with Sarah, Mandy, Alex, Cal, and Jared. I’m not a huge fan of the Parkers in the current episodes though I do enjoy Wooton and Penny, (mainly just because of Jess Harnell) 🙂

With all of the political talk on here, I just want to ask if anyone on KP is also part of Generation Joshua. If so have to you been to one of the camps or gone on a Student Action Team? I’m going to iGovern East at Patrick Henry College this summer. 🙂

YAY! New friends! Welcome to KP @winter-rose! Wow, so many people have read the Wingfeather saga. Most of the people I know have never heard of it. I listened to Andrew Peterson’s music before I read his first book and unfortunately I still need to get my hands on the others. But my real question is have you read his brother, A.S. Peterson’s book,…[Read more]

Since I read Animal Farm just a little while ago I’m fine with that one, also, I really like Tale of Two Cities. I would vote for The Fiddler’s Gun since there is a lot to learn there with plot, character development, and stylistic writing styles, but its inaccessibility is a major downfall.

I have a couple of books I absolutely love (and no one has really heard of them) One is the Fiddler’s Gun by A.S. Peterson. The writing style is magnificent, it’s almost like poetry and the imagery along with is is fantastic, it is perfect for anyone who loves a good, historical high seas adventure. Allow me to give you a taste of its beauty.…[Read more]

That sounds awesome! I’m in! I’ve got a couple books to recommend that has changed me both as a person and as a writer!

I love Pixar/Disney shorts! (I may or may not love my Disney animation a little too much) Tick Tock Tale and Paperman have to be my favorites. The animation is spectacular! The stories are so simple but yet they are so clever and ingenious at the same time that I usually end up wishing I had thought of the idea and written it down as a short story…[Read more]

Well @gretald and @bluejay, I guess both @kate-flournoy and I will have to be treated, my taste buds detest coffee in any form, but hot chocolate on the other hand, well, that is a completely different story.

Christine Eaton replied to the topic Where do you live? in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years ago
Well @bluejay I live in Southern California, it’s usually nice and warm here so I pretty much wear flip-flops year round. I live really close to Disneyland and this year we have annual passes and I go at least 3 times a month, lately it’s been every Wednesday so yes, I am going tomorrow. The beaches are pretty close as well and I enjoy going…[Read more]

As an artist and a writer I study people all the time, whenever I go to Disneyland and it’s a busy day I like to simply sit on a bench and people-watch. I need to bring my sketchbook more often though.
