I couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief.

At least he didn’t ask about the cat yet. I thought.

“Yeah, I can walk.” I responded. I wasn’t sure the cold water would help completely, I was almost sure Fire Face injected something into my hand, but cold water was worth a try to avoid questioning.

“My cat…” I replied a bit nervously. I thought that would be the moment I confessed the fire was mainly my fault. As the burning sensation in my hand intensified I thought of all the ways these people were going to kill me for burning down the castle.

Hmm. I say yes. I think that’s a good ideation. But – Carrie doesn’t trust many people and swears she’s never going to have a crush on anyone, so yes! … but good luck. Lol.

After I had got bitten I felt dizzy. I had to get out somehow. It was too loud for me to handle and my bitten hand was looking black and started to burn intensely.

With my other hand I grabbed a dagger out it’s sheath and jabbed it as hard into the floor as the small amount of strength I had would allow.

At the mention, I grabbed the stone out of my pocket, and it swiftly within a blink took the form of a sword.

I had no idea what to do, and nothing to help with. How was I going to explain anything? Would the castle be half standing by the time I got the chance? And when I explained, who was going to get killed first, me or Fire Face?
