First, I just wanna say that I’m SO enjoying your blog! It’s like, AMAZING!
I don’t blog (yet), so I’m pretty much in the same boat as you. XD
BUT I think I can hopefully answer your question about getting people to comment on your posts. For me, as a reader, I feel the most encouraged to comment when the blogger ends the post with questions that like summarizes what the post was about. If that makes sense. Idk if you do this or not. But at least for me: I usually comment on posts that interact with me and say, like, “comment below __” or “what do you think about __?”. If you get what I mean. *shrug* 😂 Or also what Issabelle was saying about replying to comments and saying how much you appreciate them commenting.
Keep up the good work!! (:

OOoooh your story idea sounds so cool!!! I love how you’re going to do the POVs! That’s super cool, especially with the middle brother being the main POV. That’s an awesome opportunity for some internal (and external conflict)! Love it!
Some questions…
1. Is there magic in your story, or are the boy’s powers more like superpowers? I totally get that you’re a pantser (I’m a pantser turned plotter), so I know that you usually figure these kinds of things out as you go, BUT I do recommend making some kind of system (no matter how brief) of just like things that their powers can and can’t do, that way you’re not contradicting yourself later.
If that makes sense. Up to you tho! 😉 Also, how do their powers get unlocked? Is there something they have to complete in order to get them (like a quest or something)? Or is it just a random discovery?2. I know a bunch of other people asked this already, but… what happened to the dad?? I’m curious to know.
3. Are you going to have a person(s)/animal(s) as the villain/antagonist? Or is the main villain/antagonist the main characters themselves (like their internal conflict is their worst enemy)?
4. What are some of the overarching themes you plan to weave in? Are you going to do a theme of brotherly love/ultimate sacrifice like in The Wingfeather Saga? Or are you going to do a theme of discovering who you truly are (that could tie in with their powers well ig)? Or both? Or something different?
Also LOVE the sibling conflict going on. I’ve always loved stories with sibling tropes.
ALSO feel free to ignore any of my suggestions. This is your story so…😉

Of course!
Yeah, they open registration I think twice a year. They had it open in January, so that’s when I joined. YWW is a lot like KP, but bigger and it’s like $40 a month. So, expensive, but worth it. I highly, HIGHLY recommend it. I think registration is opening again in August, and if you go to their website, I think there’s an option to join a waiting list. If you scroll down, there’s also a video and more info about it.

OOH The Authors Conservatory is awesome!!! I’m not a part of it yet, but I’ve seriously considered and researched it, and I’m planning to apply for it my last year of high school (Lord willing).
First of all: I totally get your struggle! That’s so real and you’re definitely not alone. I just joined the Young Writers Workshop, and it’s amazing (are you on Ydubs??)! Everyone on there is so kind and encouraging, and the instructors are so helpful. You can really tell that they have your best interest in mind. Again, I’m not in the Author Conservatory, so I can’t say for sure, but I highly doubt they would have you scrap your story altogether. Yes, they might have you revise it, but that will just make your story stronger! Also, I think that if your story means that much to you, then it’s worth pursuing even when it’s hard. So, no. I don’t think they would have you scrap it and move on. Plus, with all of the time and hard work you’ve put into it, it’s obviously a story that really matters to you. And all of the instructors on there are writers too, so they know what it’s like to doubt your writing. Again, I’m not on the Conservatory yet, but I highly doubt that they’ll tell you to just move on. They’re there to encourage you and help you grow your story, not reject your writing. But I totally get why you feel that way. I’m always nervous to show people my writing because I’m afraid it’s not good enough. This is getting really long xD, but just know that your story matters. Not perfect, but beautiful. So don’t give up on it, because I really want to read it one day!!

YESS! I know, I love him so much XDD
Of course! Aww I’m so glad that encouraged you!!! It is so hard times, but…so worth it too!
I know aren’t they the bestest?!! XD
I do! I’m currently working on a dystopian trilogy. I can’t say too much, because I’m not sure what I can and can’t say yet (spoilers XD) if you know what I mean. BUT…the first book is called One Forgotten, book 2 is Void Tomorrow, and book 3 is called Light in Dim Places. So yeah. It’s been kinda discouraging tho, because the Dystopia genre is starting to become a little cliche and I want to make something original. But I am really excited about it and one day I’d like to see it (hopefully) published! It has a lot of sci-fi/contemporary vibes, and deals with time travel as well, so that’s been super fun (and confusing) to explore!
