YES, do tell!
But to make us even, then yes I do have at least one I’ve got figured out, and an almost death.
And none of y’all actually know either of these characters like at all, but anyway.
So, I vaguely referred to this in the RP, but Mikkel has a close, close friend named Oswald who’s the medic for his group in the…[Read more]

“Don’t touch November-Ara-Paxton-Grim-or Luna! PLEASE!!!!”
*Settles back into seat.*
“But, please, do tell.”

You did? It does? Yay! Do you like it? 🙂
I’m contemplating telling y’all Fritz’s real name, but I’d also want to go back and tell you the whole story behind it, and that would take long.
And YES! Character deaths. I love them about as much as I hate them, which is a lot.
(And I want to ask who dies, but also don’t know if I…[Read more]

So I might not be getting the problem *exactly* correct, but if you’re having a hard time with the pacing of your story, I’m gonna recommend to try plotting it out. Plotting doesn’t have to be all that complicated at all! Basically, there are certain major points that need to happen in every story besides just beginning, middle, and…[Read more]

Elfwing started the topic Self publish… HEEEELP in the forum Publishing & Platform 4 years ago
Hello all, the infamous Elfwing returns after long dormancy in writer burnout to ask an important question…
I want to self-publish. this isn’t an out of the blue thing, I’ve been looking into it off and on for a year or so.
I’ve been working on my novels for over 3 years and edging closer to a satisfactory disasterpiece that people so far have…[Read more]

I hope this will be helpful…
- Loosely plot your book out on note cards, with about how much time in the storyline you think that section should take.
- If things are going to fast, step back and try writing a character point by point through a scene. Add some description or dialogue.
- If they’re going too slow, look for…

Not exactly. Can we assume my characters get to the top of the window with little incident, and pick as Mikkel steps through the window?

They’re adorable!
Btw, I may wish to drop another character in here soon, but not till the group kind of shrinks a bit. She’s actually from a novel I haven’t talked a lot about, as it’s not my main WIP. Anyway, all the lovely pics brought her back to mind.

Viktor
“Well then chaps, youngest to oldest.” The man…eighteen year-old… Mikkel bowed to him. “Viktor.”
Viktor nodded and looked up at the window. Why did he suddenly feel nervous? He’d done this – loved doing this.
He closed his eyes with a sigh and leaned his head against the stone, lis…[Read more]

Ah! Fantasy.
First off, those characters and story sound fascinating.
(Is Josephine’s hair really like it is in the picture? Because if so… It’s beautiful!! So thick and wavy and warm copper-brown. And although it could be longer, it’s a good length.) [I’ve totally never made a character starting from her hair. Never. ;)…[Read more]

I actually can’t think of anything in particular to put, that may be helpful, as I don’t know what you want advice on. But if you have a question, now or later, feel free to ask!
And I’ll probably fill an entire page with my rambles.

Oops. I didn’t intend to tag everyone. I have tag lists saved on my copy/paste thing, which normally works out fine, except when I hit the wrong one.
Like just now.
Oh well.
Ah, well I’m an identical, so writing a fraternal set has been an adventure.
