Are such question-statements allowed in your little Statemency?
One must police oneself. I propose that they be kept to a minimum, in favor of firm, decisive speech.
In any case, a question-statement is less of a question, and more of a tone-setter. Something such as “How dare you.” needs no answer.

I wish to join the Statemency. To stop the frenetic spiraling of the Inquerists’ question whirlwinds.
Statements give a solid sense of finality. We shall be the ones to end this. We shall be victorious.
It is unfortunate that more songs take their side than ours. But I shall stand strong.

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondI haven’t seen the A-Team. What is it about?
This is the opening narration:
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire
The A-Team
Basically, someone hires them or they stumble across someone in need of their help, and they drive into town in their awesome van, have a build montage, shoot at the dirt around the bad guys and never hit them, and save the day.
What makes this character “the crazy one?”
Well for starters, he does live in the Psychiatric Ward of the Veteran’s Administration Hospital.
There’s actually some discussion about whether or not he is crazy or just faking it. It’s never clarified on the show, but I personally think he’s faking it.
I could probably send a zillion examples of his crazy behavior. There’s a great video on youtube set to the song Good Time (I tried to send the link but it didn’t go through so I had to retype everything…)

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondI like your username – have you ever seen the A-Team? My profile picture is of “Howlin’ Mad” Murdock (he’s known as the crazy one).
There is a community theater near me and I’m actually going to be in a play there! Not that my role is anything major, just ensemble, but I’m happy to be in it nonetheless.
0 – I have some of my favorite bands listed on my profile page but for specifically 80’s bands, I’ll single out Huey Lewis & The News
1 – Oh no… only 5?! Um… The best of Huey Lewis & The News, the best of Aisa, The Anatomy Of The Tongue In Cheek by Relient K (because it’s the album of theirs I got first), and probably two Apologetix albums though I don’t know which two off the top of my head (Apologetix is a Christian parody band – they put Chirstian lyrics to other music – they’re awesome look them up).
2 – This is even harder… Can I make them all blank and bring a bunch of pens?
3 – I also have this list on my profile, but I’ll copy it here:
The A-Team (Not the movie, the original TV series)
Mission: Impossible (Not the movies, the original TV series)
Macgyver (Not the remake, the original TV series)
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Hogan’s Heroes
Leverage
Knight Rider
Columbo4 – I’d like to think I could get gold medal (or at least silver) in guessing songs off the first few seconds, but it would depend on whether they played music I know.
See you around! 🙂

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondI haven’t thought about it much, probably them choosing the form they like best. I think I’ll change Valxene’s to something more comfortable but that might be what she would “wear” to a fancier occasion or some such thing.
This is the 100 word snippet I wrote for Asykko’s partner (oh, and smokes also have a color – hers is jungle green):
A deep jungle green smoke wound through the sky, searching for a partner; and while there were many people in the city who would do she felt pulled towards one house in particular.
A shy young man’s now ex-girlfriend had publicly dumped him and said that no one could ever be attracted to him, and he wasn’t taking it very well, playing video games (and losing pretty badly) since he got home. Now, at nearly 2 in the morning, he was trying to get some sleep to no avail.
“How would you like to be a well-known, highly attractive guy?”
I have to get going but I’ll probably be back tomorrow afternoon

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondThey’re actually what I imagine them to look like when they’re not possessing anyone, although they do look very similar to their partners – for example, even though Asykko’s partner is a guy he has the same swooping messy bangs, and they have similar clothing styles, etc.
When they are possessing someone, they look like that person but with their mark on their forearm (unless, as mentioned, it’s their partner).
Yes, their partners are humans that agreed to work with them – for example Asykko promised her partner fame and admiration. I actually wrote something for his backstory, if you’d like to see that.

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondFirstly, they’re not human, they’re Smokes – sort of demons? Anyway, smokes can possess people and most smokes have a partner who, when they possess them, it’s undetectable (those symbols on the page next to each of them is the mark that appears when they possess someone other than their partner).
I haven’t done a lot of work with them so far except for Asykko, who is very important to the plot. She’s actually the most dangerous one, because… Spoilers! It’s part of the plot twist.

Anyway

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondI have some drawings I did a while back for the bad guys in my WIP
There are four of them, but I have to send them seperately (I tried sending them all but that did not work)
Sorry that they’re so large, I couldn’t figure out how to make them smaller
Tagging people I’ve seen on this topic so you see:

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondI’d be willing to! Example: (note, this is from an early draft of my story and doesn’t happen in the current version)
Jannira arrived in Nyxarado city in the late evening, the tracks of the speed-train seeming to glow red in the rapidly fading light. No, wait… The tracks are actually glowing, she realized as the lights along them slowly shifted from red to purple to blue. She watched, transfixed, until a cold breeze cut through her hoodie, reminding her that she had to get going if she wanted to reach her new apartment by nightfall. As she dashed down the emptying sidewalks, she noticed that most of the people her age were all heading in the same direction. Where are they all going? she wondered.

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondI love this topic idea! I’ve actually been keeping a list of words I like on my phone:
Modicum, Askance, Tenacity, Lexicon, Animosity, Perpetuity, Verbose, Assuage, Insubordination, Machinations, Peripheral, Cursory, Imbecilic, Bequeathed, Proverbial, Wry, Culmination, Vehemence, Fervently, Ostentatious, Echelon, and Indomitable
I’m not sure if ‘Imbecilic’ is a real word…
And in my writing for today (A-Team fanfiction, basically), Murdock referred to Face as having “Deceptionist powers,” and I’m pretty certain that ‘Deceptionist’ isn’t a word but it sounded cool and like something he would say.

God is king but rock 'n roll might be secondWelcome to the forum! I’m pretty new too. I’m a homeschooler, I want to be an actress / voice actress, and I’m a big fan of 80’s music.
Questions!
1 – Do you have a favorite time period in history?
2 – Favorite kind of music / favorite song?
I can’t think of anything else right now.
