Yes, I have a dog. His name is Buddy. He’s five, and I’m loving training him! I don’t play volleyball on a team, but I do like playing it with friends/siblings.
Aww, I love it!! What breed is he? I have a Siberian Husky named Bandit (well, he’s our family’s dog, not just mine 😉 ). He’s three and the quietest husky I’ve ever met. XD He’ll whine at us if he wants something, but the only time we’ve seen him bark is when he’s meeting a new person (it tends to be men).
Fun!! I play on a team, but playing with friends and siblings is always lots of fun. 😊
Chuck Black’s books are really thrilling. I would highly recommend C. R. Hedgecock’s books as well. Check her website. She has eight books in the series. They are all about a Christian, homeschooled family and their adventures. (Believe me, they are so worth reading! If you like horses, spy stuff, mystery, you need to read them)
Ok awesome!! I’ll definitely do that! I’ll probably add them to my mental to-be-read list (that seems to get longer… not exactly shorter… XD)
Return to the Hiding Place is a movie about Correy Ten Boon’s teenage resistance. They were a bunch of young men and women who stood up against the evil in their day. It’s very inspiring.
That is so cool!! I will definitely have to find that movie to watch.
So, Hornblower is a series based on the books by C.S. Forester. It’s about the adventures of a young midshipman in the early 1800’s.
Interesting!

February 14, 2024 at 1:55 pm #176038Awwww! You have a husky! That’s one of my favorite dog breeds! Lord willing, I would like to have one some day.
So, Buddy’s a mutt. He’s a rescue. I want to do a DNA test on him to find out what he truly is, but he’s somewhere between a Plott Hound and a Pit Bull. He looks more like a hound, but I’m super sure he’s got Pit Bull in him. He’s a brindle.

May 21, 2024 at 1:44 pm #179825Hey, welcome to KP! This is really late, but I haven’t been on here for a while so I’ll just introduce myself so I can get to know you. I’m theloonyone or just loony. A little bit about me, I’m a Christian, teen homeschooler who likes to write, surprise surprise. I have a lot of different hobbies and am not too great at any of them; writing, art (mostly just pencil drawing, although I’m starting to get into digital art too), music, watching way too many movies, and I’ve recently gotten into filmmaking. I also do a little musical theater.
And some (not so) newbie questions!
1. Favorite thing you have written?
2. Stranded on an island. If you like music, what are five songs or five albums that you would want to have if you were stranded on an island? Basically top five, whether through quality or sentiment.
3. Stranded on an island but five books.
4. Favorite movies or tv shows?
5. If you could make any activity an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a medal for?
Welcome to Kingdom Pen, again! I hope to see you around!
May 21, 2024 at 2:30 pm #179829Oops…I don’t think I ever replied to this…sorry!!! I’ve been super busy lately :/
If I already replied and forgot I did it….oh well….XD
You like algebra!!??? My mind is like, blown. Algebra is not my cup of tea.
Yeah…I love algebra!!! It’s like a puzzle I have to solve, xD
Yes, I really enjoy talking to myself. Well, it’s not really like talking to myself because I talk my books! So, if I’m doing some chore or something, I’ve got lots of entertainment! And, talking my book/acting my characters really helps me flesh my book/story out.
Exactly! I do it because sometimes I have no one else to talk to…and when I’m lonely XD
I don’t like coffee. It makes me feel sick if I drink too much. However, I love Cafix! Cafix taste like coffe, but it’s 100% caffine free! Of course, I will only really drink it if there’s milk in it.
You poor deprived child. (ignores the fact that you’re two years older than me…xD) I love coffee!!!!
I am a dog and horse person! I love dogs, and I LOVE horses!!! I can see by your profile photo that you love horses too! Oooh! They’re Haflingers! My favorite breed is the Icelandic! Currently, I have a dog, and God willing, I will have a horse someday!
Yep, they are Haflingers!!!!! Horses aren’t my favorite, but they are really cool! (I just chose my pfp because horses are aesthetic….and because that’s the one good picture I took of my horses)
As for your last question, I am definately NOT losing two teeth just for the sake of less boredom!!! Even if I have to listen to a totally different language, I will do it for the sake of my teeth. (I mean, teeth are super important!!)
That’s fair. lol
