Hi! I’m new to Kingdom Pen forum. My name is Liberty. I’m sixteen. I’m a Chistian homeschooler who loves to write. I’m excited to be here, and learn all about this place. I enjoy writing fiction and nonfiction.
I guess I would say some of my genres are: Allegorical/Medieval/Fantasy. I also love writing Historical fiction. And I love writing about animals. (Especially horses!)

I have a lot of favorites…
The Baker Family Adventures series by C. R. Hedgecock
Men of Grit series by John J. Horn
The Chronicles of Narnia
The Knights of Arrethtrae + The Kingdom Series by Chuck Black
The Starlore Legacy by Chuck Black
Those are my top. As for favorites… (well put down my favorite from each series)
Baker Family: Rolf Klaus
Men of Grit: Edmund Burke
Narnia: Edmund Pevensie
Knights of Arrethtrae: Quinlan. Kingdom Series: Gavinaugh
Starlore Legacy: Tig Silak
I hope you know some of these books!
And… tea! Well, I like coffee that doesn’t have caffine. (Caffine makes me feel sick)

February 12, 2024 at 4:39 pm #175785Hey, it’s another hisfic lover!! I love your name, too, btw!
Anyway, I guess I should introduce myself… I’m Janessa, aka Trailblazer, and I write primarily historical fiction (but you probably guessed that by now XD) and contemporary, as well as a smattering of mystery. I also enjoy photography and hiking, and I love discovering new things about God through His creation.
A couple questions:
Favorite historical time period?
What kinds of nonfiction things do you like to write?
What’s one thing God has been teaching you lately, or that you’ve seen Him do in your life?

February 12, 2024 at 4:45 pm #175786Your name is lovely, too!
I guess I would say my favorite historical period is the early 18oo’s! But it has to take place on a ship in the ocean. Yup! I’v loves that era, (the early 18′ navy) ever since my family watch the series Hornblower.
But, for writing, my favorite period is probably the 1700’s. The Revolutionary War! My father is really big into the first 2oo years of America. That was America’s founding. We’re even starting to reenacte that era!
For nonfiction: I love writing about animals and how they teach things about God.
Right now, God is showing me to focus on Him instead of being carried away with so many other things. It’s so easy to be distracted. He’s helping me to trust and obey Him.

February 12, 2024 at 4:45 pm #175788NOOOO NOT ANOTHER HOMESCHOOLER!!!! just kidding lol I’m like the only one on here that goes to public school…though I used to be homeschooled and homeschooling is just so much better in my opinion…so lucky duck!
Heyy! I’m Sara, though most people around here call me…well, they call me Sara. XD
Anyways, I’m a chocolate consuming, emotionally unstable, sleep deprived, algebra loving, public school attending freshman (in highschool)!
Here are some random questions:
Do you ever talk to yourself?
Have you ever subconsciously narrated parts of your day in third person? Example: She walks down the hall and to her locker.
Do you like coffee?
Are you a dog or a cat person?
Horses or chickens?
Would you rather get two teeth pulled or read out of a SUPER boring textbook about Power and Energy with subjects you will never understand?

#AnduthForever (hopefully 💕)February 12, 2024 at 4:51 pm #175790@liberty I absolutely love your name!!! 💖💖
wait just one flipping second
I’m a 16-year-old Christian homeschooler that writes historical fiction…🤯 we already have so much in common!! XD
anywho, hello!!! I’m Freedom, a God-loving, bookworm, marvel nerd, Bucky Barnes fangirl writer who has a passion for spreading the light of Christ through historical fiction novels! I’m currently in the process of getting my first novel published and I’m always willing to help wherever I can, even tho I most certainly DO NOT have this writing thing all figured out 😂
anyways, welcome, Liberty!!!
So nice to meet you!!! God Bless!!!💖💖💖
oh, and one question for you…what’s your favorite time period to write/read about?
February 12, 2024 at 4:53 pm #175791@Sara
You like algebra!!??? My mind is like, blown. Algebra is not my cup of tea.
Yes, I really enjoy talking to myself. Well, it’s not really like talking to myself because I talk my books! So, if I’m doing some chore or something, I’ve got lots of entertainment! And, talking my book/acting my characters really helps me flesh my book/story out.
I don’t like coffee. It makes me feel sick if I drink too much. However, I love Cafix! Cafix taste like coffe, but it’s 100% caffine free! Of course, I will only really drink it if there’s milk in it.
I am a dog and horse person! I love dogs, and I LOVE horses!!! I can see by your profile photo that you love horses too! Oooh! They’re Haflingers! My favorite breed is the Icelandic! Currently, I have a dog, and God willing, I will have a horse someday!
As for your last question, I am definately NOT losing two teeth just for the sake of less boredom!!! Even if I have to listen to a totally different language, I will do it for the sake of my teeth. (I mean, teeth are super important!!)

I love your name! It’s a lot like mine! I love to read/write about many periods. But, one favorite is the 17oo’s, early 1800’s in American/England.

February 12, 2024 at 4:58 pm #175794What?? I have not have my foot stepped on by seven different horses. Sounds like horses really like you. *grin*
But, I have been stepped on by a horse and her foal. Yeah, it hurts. But you know what hurt more? Getting my foot stepped on by a cow. Yup. I’ve had quite a number of cow steps. It hurts super bad. (I would know, since I worked on a dairy farm. Oh, of course you probably felt the same way)

February 12, 2024 at 5:10 pm #175801I have actually never been within ten feet of a cow that i can remember…Never hd straight cows milk either (allergies that I have since grown out of)
I work at a stable in trade for riding and lessons, or I did, but health complications have caused me to quit for another couple months…I MISS MY TYLER 😭 He’s not actually mine but we have a special connection ✨✨✨

#AnduthForever (hopefully 💕)February 12, 2024 at 5:14 pm #175803Hey there, Liberty!
I’m -GRCR-! I’m a fiction fantasy-ish writer, an avid artist, and a journalist for my fictional newspaper. I enjoy listening to music and imagining my characters singing the songs.
Welcome to KP! 😁
Random question: What song will always remind you of last year?
Well… that’s it from me. Hope you enjoy KP, and I’ll see you around! 🙃
(I also like your name, btw)
INTP.
February 12, 2024 at 5:14 pm #175804Everyone says horses are easy…Jokes on them, I worked at the stable six months, had to find the same horse twice (foggy day, and the pony was the exact right color. What a wonderful way to begin Christmas!), chased horses two times, almost got kicked in the ehad with a hoof, had two horses I was leading spook, and been stepped on. Never bucked yet. And mind you, the horses at WA are good horsies, just horses are dumb brats who I like anyway…That should tell you my mental status…well…if the fact that I write sci-fi/fantasy doesn’t tell you I’m insane already XD

#AnduthForever (hopefully 💕)February 12, 2024 at 5:19 pm #175806The Revolutionary War is one of my favorite time periods! I started writing a story in that time period and then lost traction, but I want to pick that up again! I’ve been learning so much about the founding of America that I didn’t know before, and seeing how much God was involved in it blows me away every time!
I also like the later 1800’s, the westward expansion time period. I was a huge fan of Laura Ingalls Wilder as a kid, and I still love anything that reminds me of that. I also have a WIP (work in progress) set in Nebraska in the late 1800s, but I haven’t worked on that one in a little bit either. I have a number of projects and bounce around depending on what I’m in the mood to write, so I’m not too worried… I’ll come back to it eventually lol.
