“Quibbly. And we’re not as alone as you think.” She stared for a moment at an empty space behind Alpha’s shoulder. Now that her attention wasn’t on the knife, she had noticed something lurking there, though she couldn’t see it. It was not a friend. She tapped her fingers rhythmically against her leg. Alpha looked confused.
She forced herself to ignore it and adjusted her glasses. She would keep an eye on it, but there was no need to make the new guy think she was crazy just yet.
“But everyone calls me Twitch.” She opened the trapdoor next to Alpha’s hole in the floor and looked at him. “We should probably go downstairs before you fall down.”

Alpha eyed Twitch through his black visor. Suddenly, he dangled himself off the edge of the beam again, drew one of his knives, drove it into the wood, and hung down by one hand.
“Nah, stairs are boring.” He tapped the side of his helmet, causing it to fold back to reveal his face. He met her brown eyes, and smiled back up. He dangled for a few seconds before dropping to the floor. Opening his hand up, the knife dislodged itself from the beam and came back to his hand. He slid it into the sheath on his right arm.
He has just way to many knives…he has assorted throwing knives, stabbing knives, slicing knives, small knives, large knives, a decorative one, hidden knives…just way too many!
*pops out of nowhere*

What person do you know that carries twelve plus knives openly on his person, and a few more hidden? Like, that just reaches the point of insanity.
Actually, I wouldn’t mind doing that…I literally sharpen my pencils with a pocket knife and play with flicking one open for fun…*materializes out of nowhere again*

In fact there should be more in my opinion, what about knives for menial purposes, like carving wood or those little ones that you pick your teeth with 🤪😂

Stop feeding her knife-obsession, people! She got a knife for Christmas and she won’t stop playing with it. I think we forced her to stop pulling it out and playing with it though, because normal people don’t just pull out knives and start handling them.
