Everyone had stepped back when new new stranger had appeared.
Another one?!
How many people were in this place?!
Nyx seemed to agree.
”ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! MORE OF THEM?!” The fox’s ears were flicking and his eyes ticked back and forth between each person.
The one group had expressed no desire to harm them, but Nyx was still wary, as usual. As for this new stranger…he looked….
Scary.
And November definitely didn’t blame the fox this time for his hissing, especially when it seemed this group they’d just met, also had no idea who this person was.
“Love, chill!” Lyn said, her eyes now on her fox. She seemed less concerned with the strangers around her, and more with the unpredictable nature of Nyx.

Ara backed away, standing closer to her own group. “Z-Zlatan?” She whispered, overwhelmed with everything. The young man had become a bit of a safety to her in this strange place, along with her friends.
She stepped back and looked at November, before gently grasping his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

ARE WE MEETING CROSSHAIR TOO? I’M A LITTLE CONFUSED. I went ahead and write it as if we were, but I’m not sure if we are, so I didn’t really pick up after Godlyfantasy12.

There were two men behind the first. One stepped out. “Easy now. We’re not going to hurt y’all.”
Then a woman stepped out. The lady who sang.
“He’s right. ” Her voice was soft, gentle. “We don’t know where we are, and we were just trying to find a place to sleep. We’re not going to hurt you.”
These were definitely strangers. Viktor removed his hands from his sword hilt and clasped them loosely behind his back.
“I’m First Lieutenant Ezra Roberts of the US Air Force.” The second man smiled warmly, as if his title made any sense. Which it didn’t. “This is my girlfriend Eva Goldmann, and this is our…friend, First Lieutenant Riker Schind.” Viktor looked from one to the other, then back to Ezra. “And that is…”
The younger man politely interrupted, “Private Mikkel Winston, King’s Mariner 2nd division.” then bowed.
Viktor nodded back.
“We’re not going to hurt you.” the lady, Eva, repeated with a smile. “It’s okay. Now, who are all of you?”
‘Who are we?’ Viktor’s head swam for a moment. It was late. He didn’t know what to say.
Alyona’s little hands wrapped around his rough ones. A silent whisper. I’m here, be strong, brother.
He took a breath.
And about jumped out of his skin.
Some strange man had walked out into the open. Clad in armor, he walked with a menace. Although he didn’t look Dorwinian, he might be a mercenary. A spy.
Viktor stepped backward, pushing Alyona into the shadow of a nearby clump of trees.

Grey tunics, mail shirts, long swords, helmets, and shields. The taller one wearing a matching grey cloak, the other’s crimson.
Who were these fellows? Two foreign soldiers, stepped out of the castle walls?

movement caught his attention. Another stranger.
“Who are you? Where is this place?”
something about this new…soldier terrified the youths. He knew Ezra and Riker’s pistols were out, ready as needed.

Mikkel strode forward.

“Z-Zlatan?” Ara’s voice quavered.
The fear in her voice burned fury. He stepped in front of them, handing his shield to November. “Use it.” No knowing what this man’s weapon did.
“Hey sirrah!” the young man in light brown was standing next to the brothers. “Don’t point that at anyone, hear? At this range I can’t miss.”
Sirrah? Not exactly something he would expect from this young comrade.
Vulkasin laughed.
