Oh! Poor Ottoline…I love her story though, its well detailed! Hugos story is sorta similar , if I have time I’ll share it today 🙂

Heres Hugos! It is long and tragic. I still feel so bad about what happens… He is one unlucky guy.
Hugo Walton was born in late August, and fifteen years later in late August he was sent to juvenile hall for committing arson. (I’ll elaborate on that later, since I don’t have the details)
His parents are loving and understanding people, despite all the mistakes he has and is making, they love him. Along with his sister Jean, however she is a bit shocked about what he did.
He regrets what hes done and trys hard to act how he used to, but some people refuse to even hang out with him.
The next year when he is sixteen, his entire life flips around… and never changes back to the one he remembers.
It all starts with a letter. A letter addressed from someone no ones heard of. The letter requests the people it is addressed to to come to this certain government facility, if they refuse, then they legally have the right to drain their bank accounts and remove the deeds and titles of their properties.
Hugo’s parents receive one, and they wisely refused.
Later that week , Jean got kidnapped. His parents escaped out the back of the house leaving him on his own.
He runs to his friend’s house, hoping to be safe there, but he is wrong. His friend’s parents get kidnapped.
The four kids now have no parents.
They eventually find out where they were taken and begin the long drive to the capital, Bermill.
Then an EMP happens and all the power goes out.
His friend’s oldest brother, who was driving, got injured in the crash and can’t continue the journey, so they are forced to leave him with a stranger.
Then they meet a girl, Vikii, at an airplane wreck in the woods behind a strange town and take her along on the journey. Hugo is in love with her.
After sixteen days of arguments, adventure, love and pain, they finally reached their destination, Bermill and save their families.
But in Bermill, Vikii got shot and died in Hugos arms.
He never was the same again.
For the next three years, he wanders around like a ghost, trying to deal with his grief and anger. There are small bits of happiness for him, but nothing can fill the empty gap that Vikii had.
