@rochellaine@ jenwriter17 Here you are…
There was a scramble to be out of the road. Some of the women left thier water jars by the well as they fled, but Jerusha managed to keep hers as she dashed out of the way. Then she stood and waited as the hard faces and gleaming armor of the legionaries passed, thier sandals sending up clouds of du…[Read more]

@rochellaine An indoor goat? Awww… Ours had babies several times. They were smaller than our cats when they were born, and so cute! And ours were pets, although they cleared a lot of brush and poison ivy for us.

@jenwriter17 Nice! What is the name of this story?

@rochellaine I love goats too! Do have any? We had some little pygmy goats for a while, and nubians back when I was like five.

@jenwriter17 Actually, Joshua saves the goat although he really gets beat up in the process. He knows how much the goat means to the blind boy, because it helps him go places like a seeing eye dog.
This story is set in A.D. 31-33 and has the death, resurrection, and accession of Jesus in it. Is that what you mean?

@rochellaine @jenwriter17 Okay, here’s from one of my stories…
Joshua’s fists clenched. The frenzied mob of white-clad bacchantes grabbed the little black goat from the blind boy, who gave a cry and tried to reach his pet. His mother pulled them both out of reach of the drunken crowd. The screams and cheers of the bacchantes filled the ni…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Thats really cool! Is that from your book?
I would like to, but I don’t have access to our computer right now, so I am just using notebooks to work on my plot lines and such while I can’t actually be writing the story.

@rochellaine Thank you! Yeah, his sister was five when he left, and she hardly remembers him. Also, because of the traumatizing situation they were in for a while when he was taken away, she has hardly spoken for those two years. My poor little character!
I find it tons of fun, but also difficult to write these very emotional scenes. I enj…[Read more]

Okay, so I have this scene I need some help with. My MC is an eighteen year old guy who is returning home after not being able to see his family for two years. His family has thought him dead for over a year. What would these peoples responses be when he shows up one night: his Father, his Mother, his ten year old brother, and the elderly se…[Read more]

@alia @jenwriter17 @rochellaine I really wish I could be on more, but life won’t allow that yet. Just thought I’d say it is something to celebrate that poor Uncle Bill has been found! 🙂
Please, though, don’t hesitate to tag me. I will be on as often as I can!

You know you’re a writer when the very presence of book is inspiring.

@catwing Meant to say that I really enjoyed that last installment. 😛 I like how you portrayed me as that overly-protective, bad-cop type of dragon.
Because that’s what I am. 😉 😀 Awesome.
