@Daeus aw man, in that case I should have pounded it completely off and then asked you how it felt! 😛 *starts looking around for gavel* Now where did I put that thing? 😉

And a couple of superhero sidekicks. One who can teleport short-range and one who is basically a human magnet. Neither can control their powers very well. (There turns out to be a LOT more to the teleporting kid’s powers… but… yeah. That would take forever to explain and it would probably end up sounding stupid anyway.

Reading through you guys’ comments, I’m seeing a lot about the German characters’ stilted speech, so I may be the one who’s wrong here, but I kinda got the impression it was supposed to be that way because they couldn’t speak proper English. @writefury I am mistaken?

Okay, so can I be the first to say…WOW!!!! This is so amazing!!! I want to read ALL of this! I did notice just a few small things: after Jazz is listening at Jean’s door, you say Silence answered. To me, that doesn’t make much sense since he didn’t call out or anything so nothing could have answered him. That might just be me…hope…[Read more] -

@writefury, thanks for your suggestion. 🙂 I’ve written a short story once but, honestly, they aren’t really my thing. 😛 I guess they’re just short (I know, that’s the point. 😛 Haha. 😉 ). But I’ve always liked longer stories. And, for me, short stories are so difficult to write! I know…weird 😛
And yes, I agree. Not planning is really where…[Read more] -

@zoe-wingfeather Awwww! Thanks, girl! I’ll post it here as soon as I make it. 😀
@writefury 😀 Gotta stick them poetic musings somewhere. ;D I like the alliteration with that one.
What about “Writing My Themesong” or something and I could make a connection to the “notes” on a piece of music, ‘cuz I like music too. xD Or is that too much of a reach?

No worries, @writefury!
“What?” I ask.
“Let me show you.” He stands, brushes off the wrinkles on his perfectly un-wrinkled jeans, and motions for me to follow him.
I haven’t got anything better to do, I think and follow him down the hall.
The hallway is longer than I thought; we seem to keep walking down the same hall for hours. Suddenly, Gavin…[Read more] -

Thanks, @spradlin ! That was what I was going for when I wrote it . . . I think.
Really, I just sat down on the edge of my bed with writing materials and the intention to write a poem. No inspiration struck, so I looked around my room for it. My eyes fell on my typewriter. It’s a Remington Deluxe Model 5 that I had affectionately named…[Read more]

Oh yes sir @Daeus sir, no breathing fire, of course not, sir, what a thing to say sir, why would you think I’d ever do something like that sir? Of course sir, no breathing fire.
Breathing fire. Hm… *goes off rubbing claws— ahem, hands— together, chuckling thoughtfully* Nope, no breathing fire.
Still, though…
