Here’s your Baron scene. I’m sorry that it’s so rough.

After they had eaten, Andy took him outside, showing him about the barn, instructing him on basic duties, and telling him about the animals.

As Andy was talking about the cows, a brown horse with a white blaze trotted over to the paddock fence and whinnied. Andy…

I was just about to make this topic! I love Kate DiCamillo so much! I just reread The Tale of Despereaux. It’s sooo good! And Mercy Watson! I love Mercy Watson!!!!

@whalekeeper oh that’s too funny! lol

My friend said she put me in a book once. I think I was some kind of elf character–I wanna say my character equivalent’s name was Cassiopeia. She had a really tall brother, whose name was Corvus.

Sadly I haven’t gotten to talk to this friend lately and I think she put that story off to the side anyway.

@whalekeeper

Lolololol 😂 maybe I am out of my mind

I love soup in real life—awh, chicken noodle is one of my all-time favorite things to eat—but the word is just…. Sooooup? Ew. lol I just can’t with how it sounds.

@whalekeeper whoa nice pictures of the art gallery! Where was that, exactly?

also cute doggie lol, what’s his name?

@rae I don’t know what you meant by saying your drawings are bad back when you refused to post them. They’re better than mine. Sure, I can get the overall shapes of characters down and stuff, but I can’t shade to save my…[Read more]

@whalekeeper Ok, good 🙂

Ellie (cafeteria kitchen)

Ellie paused and looked at him curiously.

“Sure.”

@whalekeeper

I read Narnia, but other then that I read mostly fiction set in our world or a fantasy world that was basically earth alternate reality with no weird creatures just a bunch of artistic liberty.

@grcr

The only other Kate DiCamillo book I know for sure I’ve read is Because of Winn-Dixie.

Oh wait, I read that one. I didn’t like i…[Read more]

Lol, I guess I have to write now…. I’ll be back when i have something

@whalekeeper @ellette-giselle @highscribeofaetherium @grcr

thx

WHY HAVE YOU NOT BEEN POSTING YOUR ART!!!???

Because I’m gonna hate these drawings, and then they’ll be forever on here. Besides, they’re far from perfect.

@whalekeeper

My siblings and I listened to an audiobook of The Tale of Despereaux several years ago. Never watched the movie though. I liked it—although it has been fuel for my dislike of the word soup. I loved the rats. 🤭 We were going to make our dolls (or Legos, I can’t remember) act it out once… that was fun to imagine though we never follo…[Read more]

@whalekeeper

Yes, I do like stories with animal protagonists.

@whalekeeper

thank you sweet friend!

@rae

WRITE

@whalekeeper

XD I love that.

I forgot I still have to do GRCR’s ten snowballs.

@calyhuge

That’s me with War Horse. The book was told from the horse’s perspective and was very confusing and somewhat uninteresting because the horse sometimes had horse limitation and sometimes could think like a person. But the movie was amazing because you can see everything the horse is seeing.

@whalekeeper

I do like some fantasy. But…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle @whalekeeper Uncharacteristically for me, I liked the movie better than the book

That and Mary Poppins are the only movies I liked better than the book

@whalekeeper

I love art like that!

Aw!!! your dog is so cute!

@whalekeeper

You’re hilarious.

@whalekeeper    @calyhuge

I was interesting in Tale of Despareaux for the world building involving the government. I love tyrannical Government books, and my next story might have characters getting thrown into a pit if they don’t follow the rules. (just kidding…… maybe) but beyond that I didn’t really love the story. It was interesting th…[Read more]
