CROSSHAIR AND MUNDY FOREVER BABY
(gonna regret saying that in a decade when this shows up on some old internet log and I have a chance, however small, of being like ‘who do those names belong to again?’ But whatever)
Yes to reptiles and sci-fi, every time. Lol

That’s so insane… 👀
Lately my book has been feeling more real to me, but that’s just because I’ve been fleshing things out more. i didn’t think my characters were ACTUALLY being brought to life. 😳😂

But it’s so sad when the favotite character dies!!! And I love crying over books!!
If they don’t die she at least needs to make life miserable for them for a few chapters. You never know if you’re hero has what it takes until you throw him in the thick of it. I have high hopes for both, and I want to see them live up to…[Read more]

Trailblazer replied to the topic What are some interesting things you've learned through story research? in the forum Topic of the Week 1 month ago
Most of the research I do for my writing has to do with history… quite often I’ll be writing and then suddenly I’m like hmmmm how did this little detail fit into their lives?
This past week I was researching Christmas traditions in the 1800s, what kinds of gifts people gave one another, and trying to dive into how it would differ…[Read more]

New chapter, please tear into this.
Chapter 4
Dylan stopped abruptly, “Where’s the path?”
“What do you mean ‘where’s the path’?” Olivia shoved past Elina and Jack, gazing out ahead. A seemingly endless sea of trees met her.“Oh, great, nic…[Read more]

TheShadow replied to the topic Could you survive in your story's universe? If not, why? If so, how? in the forum Topic of the Week 1 month ago
Hmm, well I guess in the woods around Rosen, I don’t think so. The woods are massive, and nothing really lives there. Besides, a creature stalking about doesn’t help, and something that could take a town could probably pick me off pretty quickly (wish I could say more but that would be spoilers).
As for Terre, which is where my…[Read more]

@whalekeeper lol the rock one
noooo pikachu don’t do it
I wanna say my characters are not glowsticks, but then I realized that one of them is kind of a literal glowstick cause he has a few light-up scales on his body that are bright enough to shine through his clothes. And he has a traumatized life to match (although that wasn’t really my…[Read more]

But what if someone were to hide behind the corner with a spray bottle and keep the rock wet on a sunny day?
That’s what I think of every time I see that picture.

Pana cotta is really easy to make! It just takes a minor eternity for the gelatin to set up in the fridge. My cousin and I made a bunch in under 30 minutes. It then had to sit overnight in the fridge (although we ate some at dinner even though it was soft).
And I can’t seem to find the recipe book. =|
You can totally do that. Just…

Ah, lovely. Tis faster than pana cotta I see. I must try this.
Although I might swap out the rosewater for orange or lavender. Rose has never been a favorite flavor of mine.

Okay, the prologue is out now. I’m a bit missy with the point of view in there, but I am trying not to care right now.
If you encounter ${ } in my writing, this just means that I am using a placeholder.
Now I need to go shovel.
