Weird prayer request, but… XD I will be going to the doctor on Tuesday to get a throat examination and they will put a scope down my throat, probably through my nose. Apparently my throat muscles are super interesting and must be studied for medical knowledge.
As you might assume, I feel uncomfortable about this. The thought of it causes some n…[Read more]

Barnes
Barnes looked between the Protector, who carried an undercurrent of scorn, and the screaming Arnan and Leander. She took a step forward between them and studied the lingering ash on her fingers as she spoke. “Leander, this man said he was not going to kill or torture Arnan. On the contrary, he said he wanted to do…[Read more]

After I got over the initial shock, I was trying to figure out which character this could happen to. XD
As I thought. XD
But they live in Illinois, and they were supposed to go back Monday, so I don’t know that it would be fixed in time for that.
Hm. Well, I hope their trip goes well regardless of the vehicle used.

@theducktator Ooh, that’s crazy. Also sort of a cool experience, besides your poor Grandpa’s car and unless it was scary. Is the car fixable?

Congratulations! I hope it goes well and you have a great experience with your friends and family because of this! (I remember my confession of faith so I assume this is similar.)
I know most of you guys (or almost all) aren’t christian…

@the_lost-journal @rae
BarnesBarnes picked up the driest branch of leaves she could find and pulled out her cigarette lighter. “Back off a moment.”
She lit the branch and waited until the entire clump of leaves was licking with fire. She stuck it into the hole and stuck her foot in as well to press into the plant flesh.
Where the fire touched,…[Read more]

Here. I’m waiting for Rae before writing more.
Barnes
Barnes listened to the new version of Cassius for long enough to get the gist of what he wanted. She held out a small pen. “I am Barnes, a person you’ve met before, and this is a labyrinth. Write this on your arm, it might help.”

I was only fifteen, and as a rule, only parents die in the first chapter. I should have at least half a book.
The purest kind of logic, right there.

I went to watch a movie with an older friend of mine, and when my mum came to pick me up, the car wouldn’t start. We tried to jump start it, we waited for a tow truck, I got distracted by frogs… Turns out we jump started it incorrectly. It’s fine now. *Thumbs up*

Sorry for the delay, I’m on a car ride and we almost had to be towed.
Barnes
There was no knowing how many other creatures they would encounter along the way. On top of creatures, there could be obstacles of other kinds. The beauty of the place took off the edge, but that was more for the eyes and less for the…[Read more]
