I wrote the most traumatizing part of the story for the main characters, yaaaay. Which is not customary because this is an overall cheerful story. Now it’s smooth sailing for them until right before the end.

Taking a break at :45. I took a break of about fifteen minutes, just didn’t post about it, but the writing went well! I’m over 1200 words so far.

I’ll be writing this evening for a while. Starting at :15. I’m excited to work on Project Shaffer! I was planning on a different project to focus on during the C.S. Lewis Fellowship but I couldn’t focus on it, so I’m switching gears. (Trying to get words in before the challenge starts.) If anyone wants to join, please do! @freed_and_redeemed @koshk…[Read more]

I’ll pop in here soon. I’ll be on a fancy meeting trip and surely there will be time to write in between sessions.

*Joins the tackle hug dogpile* Heyoooo. Good to see you around! I think I’ll be at the CS Lewis Fellowship if I remember to sign up. By the way, what’s the concept for your new fantasy? You’ve always talked about historical fiction to my knowledge, so this is an intriguing direction. I may have already heard about it but I…[Read more]

Is there a reason why you want to set the story in Africa? Maybe you just want a fresh but still realistic setting, and if so, that’s fair.
I’ve never been to Africa, but I have a friend my age who travels the world almost nomadically with her family. She’s definitely been there! And she is an avid writer. So I can contact her with…[Read more]

Ah… I must not have seen the post you made with Injin. Or I just don’t remember the name.
Yep! I like seeing how you get more confident with each drawing.
I see. Yeah, it takes a while to invest yourself in something new when the characters are still underdeveloped. I’m working on that right now. I always feel meh about my new characters when…[Read more] -

The White House smelled like cheese for weeks.

Joining you!

@mineralizedwriting
I have two wips that kinda uh… scratch a different writers itch? So when I’m burnt out of slice of life I can write some fighting and vice versa.
Yes!! I always have two WIPs. What else are you supposed to do if you’re tired with one project and the ideas are blocked?

Good job, you got a nice word count! If you don’t know your writing is rough, that’s a problem, but if you know it needs improvement, then you have perfectly workable material. ;-P

I can give you my story’s wikipedia answer or I can give you my story’s wikipedia answer. There’s no other way to explain. *Pulls out textbook* Ahem.
Helminth is the modern scientific term for a parasitic worm, coming from Greek for ‘intestinal worm.’ But in this story’s universe, while humans eventually narrowed the word down to the…[Read more]

Art goals, fair. Who is Injin? A new Chase drawing would be welcome on the art chat if you decide you like the finished product. I know that’s not guaranteed; I’m trying to draw a new character of mine and I’m feeling 50/50 about sharing it. lol.
*Rubs hands together* New WIPs are practically a guilty pleasure once you figure out what you want…[Read more]-
Injin is a charrie who I posted a single piece on a while back. He’s basically a bookworm who helps run a bookshop but there’s something almost shady about him.
I’ll take that as encouragement. People don’t usually say that about my charries, thank you.
by right message I mean like what I want the story to teach, or show the reader. For instance,…[Read more]-

Good to see you back at least! Perhaps your creativity will return. Is there any project you feel like working on?

Hello!
I want to redraw Injin, and draw a new Chase drawing as far as art goes. Writing? I’m trying to come up with a new WIP. Guardian Angels is on hold still, The Baron Chronicles can’t be published yet due to I don’t have the finances (and my dad doesn’t want me to get a job due to current health issues. fair), and all my other stories have…[Read more]-
