I think if you just copy the link and paste it into the text box it should work. Or if you go to the link button at the top of the text box and paste it there….
I’ve never tried linking a PDF on here, but I’ve done other links.

Yes, the youth pastor is the pastor overseeing the youth. My church is larger, so we do have a youth group (the middle-school age students meet Monday nights; the high school students meet Wednesday nights). The purpose is to give the youth a space to not only have community of their own age, but also to give teaching…[Read more]

I’m technically a PK, too, but my dad’s role is missions pastor, so he’s not usually doing the preaching.
And thanks for adding your thoughts!

It was just one source, but I’m going to do some more research to see if there’s validity to it. Johnny Enlow brought it up in the midst of a discussion on the ElijahStreams show. He doesn’t usually just share things like that unless he’s done a good amount of research, but I still want to look into it more myself.

I have two quotes that are very similar, and both of mine are from Eye of the Oracle. I didn’t write down which character said them, though.
“What you have learned in the light, my friend, never doubt when it is dark.”
“It would be foolish to deny what I have learned in the light. That is the chief rule of discernment.” (I’m p…[Read more]

I think I agree more with Whaley- I’m not questioning that what is in the Bible isn’t true or wasn’t inspired by God. Where I’ve been pondering things recently has less to do with the validity of the Scriptures themselves and more with the translation and the selection of the Scriptures. I’m just curious what caused…[Read more]

I’m not sure I really have a solid opinion on this, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about the past couple days, so I’d be interested in hearing your opinion.

Your website is pretty cool! I just typed in your name in the search bar and found it that way. Also love the Bryan Davis quote… I have a feeling we probably already talked about his books at some point way back when I first joined KP, because his one series is like my favorite ever, and I have sooo many good…[Read more]

Ooh that could go deep pretty quickly!
Esther 4:14: “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish.”
God can always give a task to someone else to accomplish His purposes if the person He chooses says no. That’s really humbling…[Read more]

I think it’s okay to take some time off from an older story and focus on one that you’re currently inspired to write. I do that all the time- I have multiple WIPs and I work on whichever one I have inspiration for. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having more than one story that is in progress, and focusing on one more than the…[Read more]

I already have the book because my friends and I read through it about a year ago! I probably won’t fully re-read it, but I can jump in on the discussions.

Yeah I was trying to figure out how I would go about telling someone that I was having problems. I didn’t think it was just me, but I had no way of finding out lol.

Hey! We’re back! Judging by how long it’s been since anyone has been posting on here, I’m guessing you all were unable to get on KP, too? For the past two days, every time I tried to get on, it gave me an error message.

We weren’t in totality, but we got about 90% I think. I saw it first at work, where one of my managers had a pair of glasses, and then after I got home, we had a pair my aunt gave us. I was able to get a picture through the glasses, but unfortunately I don’t think Wyoh would approve of me trying to post one.
