Thank you! He technically still has his job until January 6th, and he had a successful interview with a recruiter a couple days ago, so hopefully he’ll get another job soon.

I think this topic was essentially the Chat Chat before the Chat Chat existed. Before KP temporarily shut down several years ago, that is. They made this as a replacement for the lost topic, and here it is now.

Another question I have for y’all that’s more personal is if you’ve ever gone through a stage in your faith journey where you start questioning/doubting what you’ve been taught. Feel free to not answer this question though.
When I was about fourteen, (2ish years ago), out of nowhere —or what it seemed—I started having doubts about every…[Read more]

Well, people who choose to live apart from God on earth are kind of living a personal hell, right?
Right, it’s self-inflicted. It’s choosing to be something lesser than you could be, which leads to sorrow.
How can someone get to the point where having the ultimate good would be worse for them than hell?
Because of who they chose to be.…[Read more]

That is true, he did have that point in between after the betrayal and before his death to repent. I guess we’ll never really know for sure why God allows us to go to hell. After all, as Judith said in her book, not even humans can a know for sure what is on other humans hearts, let alone the God of the Universes’ mind. Maybe people tha…

Forgot to return here.
The last chapter I wrote was 2,546 words long, so I think I got through all those snowballs.
Now I have 20. What to do with them?

Next chapter. 30 chapters now. Wow.
Chapter the 30th – The Regretful
Also, of those of you who found spell images disturbing, there will be no more descriptions of them for the remained of this book. So you can continue reading without have to worry about that.

Linus Smallprint replied to the topic Do you celebrate Christmas? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 6 days, 21 hours ago
Yes, I do celebrate Christmas. My dad loves the season and has a playlist with over 1000 tracks on an old iPod that is played throughout December every year. We build jigsaw puzzles (many of them). Christmas Eve is when we open gifts as a family, and on Christmas day we head out to my grandparent’s church.
Our church throws a…[Read more]

The Ducktator replied to the topic Do you celebrate Christmas? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 1 week ago
My dad wrote a paper about the origin of Christmas trees and how they aren’t actually pagan. December 24th is the feast of Adam and Eve, and this used to be celebrated with Paradise plays, or reenactments of the fall. The tree was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, hence the tradition of hanging balls on it, representing…[Read more]

It doesn’t make sense really, after all these people are the ones facing hardships daily, wouldn’t it make the most sense to turn on whatever religion and god they believe in?
Very true, this is something we see repeatedly. Those who go through the worst in life often end up being the most drawn towards God. Part of it is because the…[Read more]

@rae I recently remembered giving @theshadow this challenge regarding my fanfic a while back ago and wanted to know if you wanted to do it too.
As of right now, the tale’s unfinished–and I don’t just mean mine. The comic series I mentioned I pulled the story from (again, I don’t suggest actually reading them, cause there’s a couple adult jok…
