Onnendel: “Mountain!?” Looks slightly bummed, then suddenly grins “I can only imagine 🎶. . .”
Randal: Clears throat “That is Silver Mountain. A hundred and thirty two years ago, four kings met at the top to form the Confederation of the Silver Swords . . .
Travenor: “That means we are approximately a quarter of the way to our destination…[Read more]

For those who wish, and for those who don’t.
LeQroi
The meal was over. At last.
Though too late to save his boots. Sugar crystals glinted in a cracking glaze, gilding what had once been supple leather. Shards crisped off smaller than ice shavings, sticky and sharp. Each step left a imprint of prickling glitter to catch the light. Le prix de la…[Read more]

I have read The Wolf Wilder. I am in love. It was beautiful. The feel was perfect–soft, rough, snowflakes and whimsy, gold and fur. And the end….ahhhh. It’s been some time since I’ve read a new book with that level of perfection.
Thank you much for recommending.

Huntress
Soldier plummeted. So did the other bird, which was basically a gigantic crow.
Luckily the crow spread his wings at the right time and slowed his fall enough to land in a giant hedge.
Sniper and I ran over to try and help, but Lucy and the other girl figured it out themselves. Their mount hopped away with a piece of string…[Read more]

Huntress
“Do either of you two have anything that could slow the creature down?”
“We’ve got our guns and our knives,” I said, holding up my weapons. “If we wanna kill the creature, or at least injure it, then we’ll definitely use them on it. If we don’t, we could set up some kind of trap for it. Judging by its size and how it moves,…[Read more]

Soldier (haven’t written anything from his pov in a while so we’ll see how this goes)
We’d been wandering for a LONG time. Way too long!
After waking up and crossing the lake we’d found ourselves in a maze of hedges. Very boxed in. I didn’t like it! I was supposed to be FREE!
Something swooped far overhead. A crow!…[Read more]

Oh I’ll definitely come back to the Twins. They’d probably murder me in my sleep if I didn’t. Lol.
So, it currently doesn’t have a title, so it’s just Project Tap Faerie right now. But there’s the blurb.
The prophecy wasn’t real. But then, it also wasn’t not real.

1) “in the midst of the stones of fire you walked.”
2) “It will be rather a bore, I expect. Love and marriage, and all that sort of thing, is rather a necessary nuisance in its way.”
3) “Blistering barnacles!”
4) “Be off with you, or I’ll blow up the barricade!”
5) “Soldier, why wear’st thou that glove in thy cap?”
