@nanisnook @ariel-f I think you’ll recognize this one, whether you like him or not. @elfwing Another one of the dragons I’m clearly obsessed with (sorry if I’m taking up your time or boring you)
He looks like a stone dragon but he’s actually an ice dragon. Read the words on the side and stuff and you’ll figure out what’s up with that. (I told my…[Read more]

So I basically took some concept art from a show and drew the character four times in different positions just because. This is what happens when you combine Tron with dragons.

Keilah H. replied to the topic What's the weirdest story you've ever written? in the forum Topic of the Week 5 years, 1 month ago
I have plenty of weird stories!
My first long story involved fan fiction characters renting a boat and traveling the world. They played ice hockey (on the land, not on the boat), they went to an animal sanctuary, and they built lightsabers……What, it was my first fanfiction! A Star Wars one, to be exact.
My Tesla anthology was the first story (…[Read more]

The dragon adaptations are partially from the Wings of Fire book series, but I add some parts too. I like making all the characters of one type into one kind—the clone troopers are all ice dragons, while the Republic and Imperial officers are mostly from various water dragon species. A lot of the alien Star Wars species have their own dragon s…[Read more]

Thanks! (is listening to my brother playing a Star Wars game in the living room and is imagining the characters as dragons….😆)

One of my favorites. I created this dragon species specifically for this character.

Keilah H. replied to the topic Writing A Christian Fantasy-HELP in the forum General Writing Discussions 5 years, 1 month ago
Hi! I honestly haven’t written much Christian fantasy (my stories are mostly fanfictions, so it might look a little weird if warrior cats were preaching to their clan or clone troopers were carrying Bibles next to their rifles in battle–although that would be pretty cool come to think of it). I have ideas for stories, however, where characters…[Read more]

This one isn’t specifically dragons (only the character on the left is a dragon, and he’s a wyvern so you can’t see his wings) but it’s an example of how I combine my characters. The character on the right is a saber-tooth cat and the character in the center is a dolphin-like creature. (I took a Star Wars fanart pic my dad sent me and added my own…[Read more]

This one’s one of my favorites, because I put in a background. I have a story which goes along with this one. It’s a short story by my standards but it’s still a bit long, so I probably won’t post it with the drawing.

This guy’s and example of their dragonish eyes, and he has spikes on his neck. Notice I draw Star Wars clone trooper dragons a lot. This dragon was one of my first experiments with shading (which took a while, even though all I was doing was tracing a picture)

@elfwing Ha! Those fit together perfectly……Hunterclaw’s mention of the other cat, Heather’s shying away, and Lyn and Ara’s conversation all combine seamlessly.

“That Echopelt.” Hunterclaw shook his head, smiling and thinking of the cyborg cat’s (rational) fear of water. He jumped up beside his mate and looked around at the mountains surrounding their current camp. “Say, what’s that over there? It looks like a cat!”
That’s my last few sentences.

Keilah H. replied to the topic non-typical critters for stories in the forum Fantasy 5 years, 1 month ago

I drew this one a while back ago. He was from a fanfic I wrote about a video game, but instead of being humans the characters were dragonmen. So that’s why it says “Championship of the Dragons” above his name.

@elfwing Sounds awesome! I like the deer person idea, too. My characters have catlike eyes too, but only when they’re angry or scared or in bright light. Their eyes look normal otherwise. Their canine teeth are also really sharp, and some of them have retractable fangs behind their human teeth. The sea variety has gills and bioluminescent areas on…[Read more]

@elfwing Cool! Cats and dragons seem to be my favorite characters to combine with humans. The creatures always have completely human faces (no scales, and no fur unless it’s facial hair), but they can have cat ears. Their bodies are usually covered in fur or scales (but they usually still wear clothes for some reason), and they have tails, and…[Read more]
