Power started the topic How Many Characters Should A Series Have? in the forum Characters 4 years, 6 months ago
So, I tend to be good at world building (usually better than I am at actual writing), so I have gone very deep into the history of my would. I have created close to 200 characters. About 111 of those are just characters in the past (kings, queens, princes, princesses, important people through out history, and a lot of not so important people.),…[Read more]

LOL, that is horrible! I can’t even imagine if that had happened to me… Although, I’ve had more embarrassing stories regarding me and my crush too.

Well, my siblings have some pretty funny stories.
One time, my youngest brother (he was 3 at the time) was playing outside with a pretend bucket of “soup”. (It was really just dirt and water).
Anyway, he made this soup and left it there to come in and eat lunch. He didn’t go back outside at all that day.
Then, the next day, he went back outside…[Read more]

Sorry I’m so late in replying. Life is nuts.
That sounds AWESOME! I love good farytales and retellings, some of my favorite authors being George MacDonald, C. S. Lewis, Gail Carson Levine, and Hans Christian Andersen. (Or at least some of his stuff)
I would definitely appreciate a retelling of Rumplestiltskin, especially as that story…[Read more]

We’ll, right now I can’t think of many actually funny stories which would make sense out of context, which is annoying as I know of many.

@madelyn It was Once Upon a Time, come to think of it. I asked my friends about it.

Me and my brother have little snippets of conversation from our stories we save because they’re funny. I’m not sure if any will help you without the context, but I could find a few if you want.

@devastate-lasting @everyone else
Hello there! I’ve been…..writing a lot of fanfiction. Also drawing and coloring an Asian dragon and a three-headed hydra.
@trahia-the-minstrel Your snippet sounds cool! The names are cool too, but look a little hard to read out loud.

@lydia-s Well, I was impressed with how tough he was, even knowing that he was going to die. I was like, “That would’ve killed anyone else!” but not Helmer.

Err… I just reread your request, and realized you wanted stuff from age 4 and 7… Sorry 😬

Oh, something that might be interested is that I like to climb things, but am scared of heights, and I like exploring caves and other tight places, but can easily get claustrophobic, in which case I WANT OUT RIGHT NOW!

Well. . . let’s see 🤔. Do I have any good stories? There was that time at church (I was maybe 10-12) when I was helping the teacher (my mom) with a lesson. The theme for that quarter was like wild west, and we had WANTED posters for “people” (Rebellion, Laziness, Hate, Ect.) I was supposed to play the part of the outlaw Rebellion. I was…[Read more]

@trahia-the-minstrel I love that! Thanks for sharing!
@karissa-chmil I totally get that. It took me DAYS of designing my blog until I was happy with it.

@devastate-lasting That’s cool! I’ve done a lot of genres myself… but I’m trying to get into more fantasy. But I’ll do pretty much anything.
@karissa-chmil I love your blog so much!! You did a great job on it.

@devastate-lasting Yeah, I totally get that! I’m trying to complete some of the projects I have now so I can move on and have less to do.
What genre do you normally like writing in?
@karissa-chmil Yes, what happened was really sad! I’m also curious about your blog. I don’t remember if I’ve seen it or not, since I’m subscribed to so many blogs now lol.

@karissa-chmil Thank you!
@autumn-rebecca Yeah, it’s helped me grow so much, and in just a month too! My Writerscore went from 70 to 79 in the full time I’ve been there. I also love the lesson they’re doing for this month, it has been very empowering for me.
@devastate-lasting Thanks! Right now my favorite project to work on right now is my…[Read more]

Keilah H. replied to the topic Some questions about characters in the forum Characters 4 years, 6 months ago
@trahia-the-minstrel I don’t know who Zuko is, but if you see him as a good character he counts. Also, I totally see why you’d pick #4 for a Marvel character–they can get out of things by themselves, what with all their cool stuff!
Also, you’re allowed more than one character for liking or hating. I can see why your choices annoyed you;…[Read more]

Ooh, this is so cool! So… do I just like talk about anything, or what? I mean, it’s been a busy past week, because I have SO MANY writing projects I’m working on. It’s crazy! I also posted my first author spotlight post on my blog: https://annabelle.batie.com/author-spotlight-laura-martin/
