That was so good!!! I’m so worried about Baron now. 😢 He can’t die; I like him too much!

Probably Baron himself. I love Rya though; she’s adorable.

I just read through all of this and enjoyed it immensely. 😃 I love your characters so much!

 Liko could get stuff done, right? The fellow certainly had enough hands.

Ooh, I like Terry. The problem with names from this era is that so many of them are taken by adults I know. XD

Not that I hate that, but I don’t love it either. I want them to just beat the bad guys already.
Exactly. I want it, but only as a subplot, not as the main thing.

Ugh. The series was good through book 6, but the romantic drama has kind of taken over, and I don’t think Shannon Messenger has any idea what she’s doing anymore.

Agreed. I do think she and Keefe are cute together though. I just wish it would stay a side plot.

Yeah. *sigh* I think Fitz ought to die. He only seems to exist for romantic drama at this point.

Don’t worry, Rory is well loved.
That is precisely when worry is needed. The worst things happen to the best loved characters.
I can’t break the rules of the story just because I love a character. I hate it when authors do that.
Same. KotLC used to be one of my favorite series, but there have been 9 books, the stakes are supposedly super high, and yet…we haven’t lost any of the main character team. Only two not that important side characters. *sigh* Just kill somebody already!

@anyone
I need names for 4 adults in their mid-forties/early fifties for a contemporary novel. Any ideas?

Ryla
Ryla nodded. Liko the handyman. And he did like cookies. She pulled out a small tin and handed it to him. “I baked these yesterday. They’re chocolate chip. You can have two.” She studied him as he took the tin. “What’s it like here? I’ve always been taught at home before.”
