Thank you for your response!
I must admit that I have limited knowledge about Mormonism and its principles and history, so I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and perspective on the subject.
I guess the whole concept of Mormonism is hard for me to grasp because it just doesn’t make sense to me on a fundamental level. God…[Read more]

Hey, so I know I’m interjecting a bit into this conversation, but since I saw you talking about The Church of Latter Day Saints (or Mormonism) I was wondering if I could ask a few nagging questions I have about it.
Mainly about this Joseph Smith guy, and more specifically his legitimacy. Since the whole Church of Latter Day…[Read more]

I actually don’t get asked this a lot.
I try and use the correct name of the Church as often as i can, i just find it simpler to say Mormon in certain public spaces where people might not recognize the name The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
I know it is very stressed and i actually feel like Latter-Day Saints is…[Read more]

I will read your thoughtful comment in detail soon, just saying that I am going through some emotions and don’t feel like I can touch on this stuff to the best of my abilities… 🙂 I will respond eventually.

I really found what you said quite interesting. If you want to know why I asked you about this the I came across the video by watching some stuff and was like I really want to know what ArcaneAxiom would have to say about this and if he was incorrect about anything or if Arcaneaxium might have some interesting stuff to say on it.…[Read more]

I think you are exactly right about needing to approach gender issues lovingly and gently. I feel that in my experiences sharing the gospel with those populations you first have to get to know them as a person before you can actually talk to them about the gospel (if that makes sense?).

First off addressing the translations. We have original documents of the written Bible (In its written language), and we use those to make our translations. We are not copying one English Bible and changing it to a Spanish Bible, we are deriving each one of them separately from the original Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew.…[Read more]

I would say that if it is indeed true that a ‘no cat’ as 2 tails, and it is true that a ‘cat’ has one more tail than a ‘no cat’, then a ‘cat’ must therefore have 3 tails, then the logic is completely solid. However we obviously understand that a ‘cat’ only has 1 tail, therefore the logic falters when we say that a cat has one more…

Yeah, determinism vs free will is definitely important. If you’d like to see below, I would recommend reading Romans 9, concerning that area of theology. As for the idea of God’s Word being subtly changed over time, that goes into the territory of, ‘is God’s Word infallible or not?’ If you mean translation-wise, yes, there are…[Read more]

Well there’s also the topic of predestination to keep in mind (if we are open to that)
Also, hi

You all took the words out of my mouth. It wouldn’t make sense for God to harden Pharaoh’s heart because He wants everyone to repent and turn to Him. I agree with you two.

Yeah, you got it right. That’s what I meant.
Interesting theory. I can see that being true.

My take on it is that the plagues were the hardening of pharaoh’s heart. God gave him a chance after every plague, but because of the plagues his heart was hardened. God also knows everything, so he would’ve known if there was any chance that pharaoh would give in without the plagues. There’s a lot more to it but that’s my basic opinion.

Okay, so I’m not the only who thinks it’s the school system and technology 😂 I also wonder if it’s because Christians don’t really have any heart in their religion anymore. If you think about it, there are some Christians who think about God on Sundays and when they do their quiet time. I…[Read more]
