I nod to my charies.
“I’m Vulkasin! Although Lynn did call me Vulka, so as you wish.” He grins and turns to his brother.
“Zlatan.”
Vulka rolls his eyes. I point to the next in line, then glare at him. Tell the truth you rascal.
He stares blankly back at me. “DaithÃ.”
“Ivan Khorolskiy.” H…[Read more]

Those are so good! And bwahaha, someone needs to ask one of them that, and it lead to a full on battle of howls between the three, with Ivan desperately trying not to get pulled in.

*Squeals with excitement*
Oh, hi.
*Steps out of the shadowy corner*
Yeah, I’ve been kinda lost in the shadows of the Kingdom for a while.
(Sorry I’ve kinda disappeared for a bit…)
Anyway, *cough* I am here! *Throws back hood*
I do believe I have a few characters that…[Read more]

I smile back at Godlyfantasy and settle myself into the corner with a cup of tea. Ivan’s yellow eyes are still glaring at me from onder his thick brown and tan hair, then turns back to the game, waiting for someone to start. Vulkasin chuckles.

Ohh..I just realized that Daithà is about to play a game that involves Truth. Hehehe…this could get interesting.
Question: (insert question)
DaithÃ: (spews out a complete lie)
Me:Â JUST GO JUMP IN THE LAKE ALREADY!
DaithÃ: (stared at me blankly)

(Ivan is a place holder name for an antagonist most of y’all haven’t met yet. He may need to poof away in a bit)
A swirl of sparkling mist appears in the corner of the room. I step out, leading (dragging) a few of my Characters with me.
Ivan glances around and dusts off his cloak with a…[Read more]

OH MY!!! That would be so fun to do! And I like how your wrote them too, so I’ll have to do one soon.
Do you want them all in one room together with all y’all’s characters?

Wilkins
He had heard the man’s voice and he knew, just knew, he was safe. His friend gripped his arm tighter, as if reading his thoughts. Daithà shot him a look which clearly translated to I know you’re not a fool, so don’t act like one. Wilkins sighed and smoothed his axe handle. Then he shrugged and stepped into the li…[Read more]

I think I’ll go with Ezekiel, as I’m still figuring out how to write Wilkins’ personality.
And Dáithà calling Wilkins a lad… He’s only a few years older than him.
DaithÃ
The shadows were lightening with the introduction of more window slits. He smiled at the sunshine as if the light weren’t stealing away his cover. No ma…[Read more]

You’re splitting up the twins?! *Horrified gasp*
Although, I can’t really say anything here. That is a huge plot point for my first book.
That sounds wild. XD

Would you mind/like it if Wilkins and Dáithà run into one/a group of your charies?
I was thinking maybe Ezekiel or Fin’s group, if it wasn’t a problem (although the group is pretty large, so Ezekiel may be better?).

Koshka replied to the topic Why did you start writing? Why are you still writing? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 1 year, 10 months ago
Why did I start writing? Let me think…I don’t know. I grew up in and around books, and I guess it just naturally transferred to writing them. My siblings and I made up stories and histories for our made up play world’s, and we always intended to write them down.
Why am I still writing? I love words; how they work, how they change, and…[Read more]

Fun story! I liked your Bensnickle (Or however his name is spelled). Writing wise there aren’t very many things I’d tweak.
But um, do you want critique on the history side of things?

Wilkins
A headache. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, waiting for the pain to subside.
The room around him looked long deserted. Half a musty tapestry dangled from the wall, it’s other half lying forlorn on the stone floor. He shivered and wrapped his arms around his knees. Where am I?Â
A castle. The shivers up his spine muntiplied down his arms,…[Read more]

Um wow. I can definitely see the favorite. XD
I found one new character song over Christmas break. For DaithÃ. (‘Justice Calls’ from Jonah by Sight and Sound.)
And a few instrumentals, but do those count?

Daithà MacLassair: about 18-19 years old, 6′ but lightly built. A red fox in the book, Daithà has Flame red hair that comes down partially over his ears but not in his light hazel eyes that miss nothing and tell less. Foxish features. He’s the nephew of a Lasairin Clansman, and has devoted his life, and death, to the cause as a spy and assassin. H…[Read more]

Wilkins OLaith: about 16 years old. Is a gray fox in the book, a boy here. About 5’6″, and of a slight but strong build. Has tousled grayish-brownish-blonde hair cut a bit raggedly but shorter than DaithÃ’s. Dark eyebrows and lashes make his misty gray eyes stand out all the more. He’s a resistance fighter, yet with a gentle voice and a courteous…[Read more]

Actually, there isn’t much to worry about when it comes to Wilkins… Daithà may be another problem, but the two both need help, er, development.
Awww, no body better hurt those poor darlings!
