Speaking of Sokka, he is actually not just there for comic relief and jokes. He also has a complex character and struggles with self-worth being around all these crazy talented warriors and benders, but he’s actually really smart. Just awkward.

I would love to read it! it sounds so fascinating! I have never been any sort of Alpha or Beta reader (I’m not even sure what they are exactly besides they give you outside feedback) but I don’t know how my schedule is going to look for those five chapters a week.

Yes, I love ATLA! I was so surprised when we went to re-watch it at how complex the characters were, even ones like Ozai (Zuko’s dad)(I think I got his name right) who has this tremendous ‘I’m bad just because’ vibe has reasons for what he is, even though it’s never delved into.
