@PerfectFifths Wow. So cool to know a famous author.
But it’s gonna be really nice—I’ll know quite a few famous authors once all you guys get published. 😮I’ve read Hostage Lands, and his 6 Scottish/Scottish-American ones.

I terribly wish I could help more, but I don’t have any kind of ‘social media’ account accept here. 🙁 I would broadcast it to the air, but I don’t think that’ll do much good.

Crazy!! All the inside jokes and mocking of cliches! And everything else! I certainly didn’t think it’d turn into this when I gave you that prompt. 😀 😀 😀
And the characterization! Though I’m not quite such a worrywort in…[Read more] -

@Ethryndal @GracieGirl *collects four cents*
Okay, I totally agree, now that you’ve both expressed yourselves so lucidly on the matter. 😀 I do think it was more than just comradeship, but only a little. And I was almost rejoicing that they didn’t kiss. XD I loved the hug at the end, but that was plenty. That’s more of a just friendly thing…[Read more] -

@Ethryndal Yeah, purty sure. 😀 And it’s still awesome, no matter your age group.

@PerfectFifths Nice! Is Douglas Bond Australian? I’ve read some of his books.
@Ethryndal @Kate-Flournoy entered that contest too, and went through the same thing (obviously). It was n.e.r.v.e. w.r.a.c.k.i.n.g. I don’t think it was an error, either; not to be badmouthing them of course, but there were updates on their Facebook page or something…[Read more]

@GracieGirl Agreed.
@Ethryndal They didn’t go that route with Jyn and Cassian?! 😮 I got that impression…not as strong as say, Aragorn and Arwen or anything, but I thought for sure they were doing that.

Write about a crown that is only allergic to the king’s head.
Write about the Gum Rebellion of ’92 when all the gum boycotted the bottom of the tables.
How do you think up these awesome things?

@dragon-snapper, @jane-maree, @ethryndal, @gabrielle, Thank you! These are all such great prompts! I’ll definitely use all of them at some stage, but for now I may have to go with @dragon-snapper‘s bean-ish potluck! 😛 🙂 😉

@Cloudy Welcome!! Glad to have you. And nobody’s asked you yet what MBTI type you are. So I ask you, what is your MBTI type? (I’m guessing INTP. If I may make so bold as to guess. 😛 )

Actually Till We Have Faces probably wouldn’t be considered Christian fiction, as it’s not specifically having to do with real Christianity. The theme is, but not by name.

Emma Flournoy replied to the topic Hello All! in the forum Start HERE 9 years, 1 month ago
@That_Writer_Girl_99 Hmmm…I don’t know how much of what I’ve read is technically considered ‘Christian fiction’. The Screwtape Letters and Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis—those might be considered Christian fiction. They are Christian and they are fiction at any rate. Several books by Douglas Bond, and the Viking Quest Series by Lois Walfrid…[Read more]

@Mark-Kamibaya I agree, excellent article. I couldn’t really tell you whether I found aspects right or wrong, because I don’t know a whole lot about the antihero. Didn’t, at least. 😉 But it was a very interesting read, and well written. I haven’t seen any of the characters you mentioned for reference except Luke Skywalker—and that was for…[Read more]

@Emma-Flournoy Aaaaah! I’m speechless. You have this profound effect on me: Everything you say makes me grin. How can one person be so NICE?
*gives you chocolate with raspberry pieces in it*
Seriously though, you’ve pretty much nailed it. (Besides things like Admirable. I don’t think I’m allowed to have an opinion on those. 🙂 ) All the…[Read more]

You have the EXACT same effect on me! And I keep thinking, how can one person be so NICE?!
And, I have an opinion on the Admirable and so forth, and I say they’re true. So, you need not feel bashful. XD

WELL I LOVE YOU TOO!
*poof* Yes, I remember that. And I know the feeling. The feeling of…bursting. *knowing nod* Quite. But yes, feel free to respond at your leisure. I was almost thinking of sending it in installments because it was so long, but then I thought, eh, well. We understand one another. So it’s all good. *poof again*

Yup, we understand each other. This is good.
I don’t care that the emails are long (far from it, give me GIVE ME!)—just that that makes it so I have to take longer to reply, and thus longer till I can hear from you again. 😀

Nah, it’s more orderly and less confusing to have it all in one place. I’ll just stick with long.
It is different…but not hateable, I thought. Sheesh Anna. But you should see it again sometime. When there is such a time. And whenever you finish reading TSP,…[Read more]
