Drat it. I’m trying to balance Justice’s horribleness with his humanity :/ And I felt I was making him too…not Justice.

However, the scene where he tells her his story is from the first draft and I hardly changed it.

I like waking early. Makes me feel like I have more time and a longer day. Problem is I tend to sleep late if I don’t watch myself. It’s especially bad if a good writing session is happening in the middle of the night.

We ended up watching The King and I, we haven’t watched anything else yet, but we have a whole collection of Rodgers and Hammerstein so we’ll probably watch one of them next. Maybe Carousel.

If you’re listening to Valjean’s Solioquy/What Have I Done? Definitely give another actor a chance, because I personally think Hugh Jackman did a terrible job at that one 😀 He’s okay in the other songs, but just can’t do that one.

Despite my love of the Les Mis movie, that’s not the best version (especially, if you’re just starting out in my opinion), I think the best one is the 10th Anniversary Dream Cast, that one has a really good Valjean.
