@gideon-swodon This is a really good subject I’ve been wondering about… a friend and I were just talking about it! I have enjoyed multiple first person points of view when reading it. But definitely making it clear whose point of view it is is a key… hmmm… Ooo, that’s a really good point, @ethryndal!
I like to read 1st best, however, that could be because the things that I have read in 1st have been really well written all the way around. In writing… it depends on the project, I write in both.
@NatalieMarie Hey sis 😀 Welcome!
@leumeister Hello! As with @perfectfifths I am slightly late. But I am glad you can be here! 😀
@perfectfifths Oh, dear, Beckie, I am very late. But hello and welcome!And wait! You ordered Resistance? Why did you not tell me!!!
@sarah-h Hello. 🙂 So… trying to get in contact with you. 🙂 You can email me at the place I mentioned earlier… or, if you would email Sarah Spradlin at kingdompenmag@gmail.com …. she said she could connect us, but that she doesn’t have your email address. 😀
@sarah-h that would be awesome! I hope so, and I hope we can go. I’d love to connect with you further, you can reach me at thinkauthors@gmail.com if you want 😉 😀
November 18, 2016 at 11:55 am in reply to: Good Morning (in all the ways at once I suppose:)) #21253@sarah-h No! I didn’t! That is so exciting to hear! My mom and I were hoping to go to the one in California, but this one is so much more likely! I have to talk with my mom about it, but I sure hope we can go. 😀
Hi @sarah-h ! I am sooooooo sorry that I didn’t reply sooner! It somehow went to spam in my inbox. 🙁 But I am so glad for you and the girls! I am so happy, and I have been praying for you. Maybe sometime we’ll actually get to meet in person. Again, that is so wonderful to hear!!!
@r-e-p Err, I tired the last email address fix… and, well, it didn’t work either…. 😉
@r-e-p I tried the email… it didn’t work…. 🙁
@r-e-p I think it depends on the person you ask! Florida is definitely part of the south (my Godparents live on an old plantation), but I think that some parts have a very different culture than the deep south… some parts. And that’s just my opinion from my observations. 🙂
@gretald I think you just listed all my favorites! Fantasy is definitely my favorite genera, though I like to read most things. Added to the fantasy list that you had would maybe be the Ilyon Chronicles, the Blades of Acktar, the Chronicles of Narnia, plus I really like Sci-fi ones as well. I guess in my mind I lump them together with fantasy, just because I like them both so much!
@clairec So why have you moved around so much? Sounds like quite the adventure!- This reply was modified 8 years, 1 month ago by Grace W..
@r-e-p Email is totally fine! 🙂 Yeah, sometimes does get old, telling people about it, and explaining it. It isn’t like you can say, “I have diabetes” and everyone knows what you mean (not to undermine any diabetes sufferers out there). I have to keep reminding myself that although this is the hundredth time today that I have been questioned, it is only this person’s first time. 🙂 On the other hand, I am surprised, though, at how many people DON’T ask.. I know they are wondering… 🙂 I am not insulting Florida! Far from it, I am a FL girl myself. That is the place that I have lived the longest, and my parents grew up there. What part of Florida were you in? Or are you still there? I lived in the panhandle when I was little and then down by Tampa/Clear Water later. Now I am in Arizona from Washington state.
@r-e-p We actually found out about the mold before the Lyme (I know, I know, usually it is the other way around!). But for about a year we didn’t have any idea what was going on. I spent that year in bed trying everything to try and fix it. And then we realized that the house (where I was spending all that time) was the issue. So we moved. And then we moved again. And at some point we figured the Lyme factor out as well. It’s a long story, I’m sure you can relate! I would love to talk with you sometime (like maybe Skype or the phone?). We have been struggling through this for about a year and a half, thankfully, I know that we may have a long way to go, but I am thankful that God showed us what was going on early on compared to most people who have to go through it.
So you are a southern girl? Which kind of southern? The deep south? California southern? Florida southern? -
