@r-e-p We actually found out about the mold before the Lyme (I know, I know, usually it is the other way around!). But for about a year we didn’t have any idea what was going on. I spent that year in bed trying everything to try and fix it. And then we realized that the house (where I was spending all that time) was the issue. So we moved. And…[Read more]

@@r-e-p My heart goes out to you! I, too, have been battling Lyme/Toxic Black Mold (With Multiple Chemical Sensitivity mixed in). I would love to connect more! Toxic Black Mold is such a not commonly known sickness. I actually recently started a blog on both the practical things about it that I have learned, and the faith things:…[Read more]

@sarah-h You don’t have to read the book I don’t think (although it;s a great read!). The ‘rebelution’ is this: teenagers rebelling against low expectations. So many teenagers are simply lazy, our generation hates responsibility, and we have in in our minds that the teen years are a time to have fun and goof off… but really they can be such a…[Read more]

@the-bean I think you covered all the bases except for cheese! 🙂 I have literally given my dog a mouthful of peanut butter, it was hilarious. That sounds awesome! I just joined Revive, btw!

@sarah-h I am excited for you! I wish I could go, but my family has plans that weekend. I end up doing the same thing with swimwear. And I don’t have an answer! In Florida though the struggle to find a ‘modest’ swimsuit was extremely hard, we finally found some places online to buy some (Athleta, and Title Nine), when we got to Washington,…[Read more]

Hi @the-bean! I am new here too, bu hi! What do you mean cheese-tasting exactly? And what kind would be your favorite? Wait, did you say Revive? I hadn’t heard about it until recently, but now several of my friends keep bringing it up!

@sarah-h That would be so cool if you get to go! I will be praying, keep me posted! The conferences are so challenging and encouraging.
Yes, Modesty is hard that way. And even for the individual person, standards change… sometimes good sometimes bad. For example, swimwear when I lived in Florida was very different from the state of Washington.…[Read more]

You all just listed all my favorite books. We recently moved, and I had to get rid of all my books… it was like I was getting rid of some of my friends. 🙂 To add to your list, I would say Evidence not Seen, Kisses From Katie, and Riley Unlikely. That is, since you already said Bruchko, God’s Smuggler, and the trailblazer series. 🙂 Did I…[Read more]

@bluejay I just realized that I somehow managed to skip over your last message… oops! If you’re read Kisses from Katie and Bruchko… you REALLY should read God’s Smuggler! It is really good, one of my all time favorites. B.R.I.G.H.T. Lights is mainly for girls that are already Christians, although non-believers are apart of groups too. The idea…[Read more]

@gretald Yes, Bruchko is really good! I have read it many times. There is a sequel too, if you like it. Another of my favorites is Counted Worthy by Leah E. Good. 🙂 What are some of your favorites?

@sarah-h Yep, it’s a really good book, I have read it several times. Thankfully I was able to read it first before I had to deal with any guy situations, so that when the time came I knew where I stood. So where in Phoenix exactly do you live? Like north, south… That would be so cool if we could get together in person!
That’s a very broad…[Read more]

Hello All!
Wow, I should have checked this sooner! 🙂 Thank you for the fun welcome!
I am glad you guys got the title, that makes me very happy. I’ve been hearing it since I was born from my dad, but I only got it when I was finally old enough to read the LOTR.@roelnahatfield @juliar @bluejay @sarahhoven B.R.I.G.H.T. Lights is a discipleship…[Read more]
