@gideon-swodon This is a really good subject I’ve been wondering about… a friend and I were just talking about it! I have enjoyed multiple first person points of view when reading it. But definitely making it clear whose point of view it is is a key… hmmm… Ooo, that’s a really good point, @ethryndal!

I like to read 1st best, however, that could be because the things that I have read in 1st have been really well written all the way around. In writing… it depends on the project, I write in both.

@r-e-p I think it depends on the person you ask! Florida is definitely part of the south (my Godparents live on an old plantation), but I think that some parts have a very different culture than the deep south… some parts. And that’s just my opinion from my observations. 🙂

@gretald I think you just listed all my favorites! Fantasy is definitely my favorite genera, though I like to read most things. Added to the fantasy list that you had would maybe be the Ilyon Chronicles, the Blades of Acktar, the Chronicles of Narnia, plus I really like Sci-fi ones as well.
