What do you think? Pretty sure your email is visible on there as well as mine.
I’m good with it. *thumbs up* It might be a good idea to post it on your profile, rather than directly on the forum.

This is the final part of Story 9.
In my writing document, I named this story temporarily as ‘Delirium’ but I would like some better title ideas if you can give me some. Thx in advance.
Five days had passed since Baron had been taken to the Handel mansion and his symptoms…[Read more]

Hey guys! I’m going to work from 2:15 to some undetermined time. I have to jot down the full outline for my senior thesis, and go down some hopefully valuable rabbit trails. You know how research is. I’d love to have company!

Okay, good. Thanks!
so, does this mean you’re gonna start posting chapters?! 😃
Not quite. Now that the core is taking shape, I’m getting ready to move into a more structured outline, and need to decide which of all the middle events I have planned will suit the story best. I also still need to figure out some of t…[Read more]

Having a foggy sick brain sucks. Hope you get some rest and start feeling better soon! <3
Thanks. It’s lasted longer than I thought it would, but I’m feeling better now.
Ryla
“That wasn’t very nice of her.” Ryla glanced up and stumbled back. A blue…creature with four arms towered above her, staring disapprovingly after the rude girl.…[Read more]

I know!! Poor kid. You don’t know whether to laugh or cry.🥺
Rory
Rory leaned against the wall and ran his arm over his forehead. “So, where are we going? Now that I’m your assistant, what should I do?”
(sorry, but Rory and I are equally lost on how to move forward. We don’t know much about the school’s underworld.)

It looks good to me! (But I’m not a huge outliner as previously stated.)

I bet if i made Dante bored enough, he’d sneak into the school and pretend to be a student for the day. That would be fun.

Alpha
Alpha shrugged. “She put a kid in the hospital, and thought she could take care of me too. So I stabbed her. And yes, I do often stab people.” Alpha paused, thinking about what he had just said, for the first time considering how his audience would take that information without context. “Though, it’s not just because I’m bored.…[Read more]

speaking of jews, what are your honest thoughts on them? Like how to you see them?
I believe they are God’s people, and that the promises God made still apply. I don’t believe that the Church is the new Israel.
Other than them being God’s people, I don’t stand behind them. They support the lgbtq+ community last I heard, and I…[Read more]

Sorry, I just realized I never replied to your explanation of contemporary churches.
Ours will normally follow the same pattern of announcements, we have a time of worship through song, then the sermon, then we’ll end with another song and sometimes Communion. This can change depending on the Sunday, but that’s the normal structure we…

Linus Smallprint replied to the topic Writing Fight Scenes in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 year, 6 months ago
Hmm. I’ve written some fight scenes, but am not overly satisfied with them. I just make the characters bang their blades around for a bit until I feel it is time to make someone win. I did a little bit of research on sword fighting to improve it a bit.
I like @whalekeeper‘s advice though, about using surroundings to both hinder and help…[Read more]

Okay, I’m starting to make some refinements to my ideas, starting with some guiding principles. That involves pinpointing a one-sentence premise and pinpointing the theme of the story, as well as thinking about the arc I want Alan to go through. This is supposed to be a document that I can reference to…[Read more]

The pocket thing. XD
Leo
The lorry rolled to a squealing stop. It’s doors swooshed open. Time to move.
Leo braced against the back of the seat in front of him as he helped Rory to his feet. Then they shuffled down the aisle with Silvia and Quincy close behind. The steps squeaked under their feet.
Students filled the sidewalk…[Read more]
