There is one word to describe this. Amazing.
Okay, two words. Amazing and ingenious.
WOW! This is so good! I agree with those who said they loved Cerdic’s voice. It’s perfectly hilarious. 🙂
I only noticed a few grammar mistakes, but the awesomeness of the story made up for that! 😉
Amazing, awesome, fabulous job! (Now four words.…[Read more] -

I don’t have much experience with this but I know that any book that isn’t the last book in a series should have a cliff-hanger ending to make the reader want to read the next book. (That’s sort of a “duh.”) For the last book in a series, I know the writing just needs to have a finished feel too it. Maybe not too finished; the reader should still…[Read more]

Wow; just wow. Forget what I said because what you’re saying makes a lot more sense! 😉 I agree that you shouldn’t have to fulfill all of the reader’s expectations, just some. That way you leave room for more creativity and an awesome story! By the way, I would totally read that story about the girl and the evil faerie dragonfly! It sounds…[Read more] -

*runs in* *hunches over to catch breath* What did I miss? Oh, nice topic! As I have never actually written an ending for a book (short stories excluded), I have just about no experience with this topic. However, I do think it is important that you tie up any loose ends and don’t let the reader down. If the reader was…[Read more] -

Hey, @winter-rose!
I’m generally an artist who tries to draw, a writer who can’t spell, and a piano player who doesn’t read music very well.
Wow, that is so me! YES!!! I LOVE to draw cartoons! (Mostly because I’m not very good at realistic drawing. 😉 ) Welcome, Gabby!

Hello, Hannah! (I don’t know if you remember me but I was at TeenPact, too. We sat together for breakfast on the last day. 🙂 ) Anyway, welcome!
“Words have great power, the power of life or death, and we have the gift and privilege of being able to use them for life.” This blew me away! Preach it, girl! 😉 -

I have to agree with Daeus, @bluejay. I definitely like the topic for the poem ( 😉 ) but it’s sort of just…words. The very first thing I noticed, though, it that you switch back and forth between past and present tense. Decide which one to use and keep it throughout the whole thing. That may help you with meter a bit. (Hope this all makes…[Read more]
