    Rinzler and Feather

Rinzler eyed the cat-like creature in front of him. Great, he thought. Another creature to follow us around.

The cat yakked on and on, finally coming to a stop. “…I don’t even know your names. Okay, I’ll shut up now.” he finished.

Feather’s apparent new friend—Hesh—introduced them all before Rinzler coul…[Read more]

    (Power, is Kent a leopard?)

    Hesh

Hesh stepped back as a lithe form leaped, roaring, from the depthless darkness. “Light!” the creature… yelled? “Wonderful light!” The creature looked like a large, spotted cat, but spoke with the voice of a human. This day was only getting more bizarre.

Hesh eyed the cat warily, not sure whet…[Read more]

  • Okay, y’all, I need a brainstorming partner… or two… or as many as I can find, haha…

It’ll actually be for two separate projects. One is a middle-grade contemporary novel, and the other is a YA fantasy. If you’re up for helping me brainstorm, either (or both!) need work, so anyone who can, pretty much? I’ll give the tags here, and then put…[Read more]

@power Whoa, that poem was AMAZING and really touching!! I loved it! THANK YOU for sharing it with us!! It reminded me of the lyrics from TobyMac’s song Scars. “It doesn’t matter who you are, this world goin’ leave some battle scars.”

    Dancing Lights

    The great Northern Lights

    Are soaring in the heights.

@power Love it!! It’s so mystrious and imagination-provoking… *sighs*

  • @unsung Lol I suppose you should!!! XD Thank you!!! 😀

@power may your villains fear you, and your MC’s shrink back at your- okay now I’ll stop with the writers’ edition brutally bad beginning (bummer) XD. Nice alliteration by the way. Appreciate the immediate reference to battle and blood and all things medieval.

Okay I’ll try again. 😆 (It’s been cantankerous and hungry lately it seems lol)

The poem about the baboons sounds funny. I like the balloon one.

Heres one of my favourites of my recent ones. I was minding my own business buisily studying my Physics lesson when this came to mind. It’s doesn’t have any particular meter or rhyme so a bit odd…[Read more]

Sorry to disappoint you, but, please, stick around!! 😉

Today I have a simple question for y’all:

Haha! Sounds like a fun poem baboons bickering in a tree. lol

    Oh, I like it!

Here’s another one I wrote. This was a random thought moment after a Physics lesson. It doesn’t exactly rhyme and is a sort of weird pattern. With lots of alliteration, but I like it lol

Okay, so last night I got this amazing idea. At least I think it sounds amazing. But my problem is, it also sounds a bit cliche.

The problem is, I don’t get out much. Honestly, I’m pretty picky about what I read, so modern secular works are very rarely added to the list, and I am pretty clueless about what’s actually on the shelves. I know I…[Read more]

A desk job has never seemed more enticing. I guess my dream of becoming a advertising street sign holder will have to die. Its a so sad, but I must do it for the arts…

  • Hola! I need a little help with this poem. I want to post it on my blog, but I want to make sure that it is good enough. Do the rhymes keep a good rhythm? Does it pull on the emotions? Any thoughts? Is it worth posting or should I trash it and try again?

😏 I suppose I could share a couple… I write about pretty much anything. I’ve written poems about the seasons, rain, time, some Bible passages, and many many others. I’ve actually published a couple here on KP. I also write in many different forms of verse, rhyme, etc. So I wouldn’t say I have a characteristic rhythm to write in. lol

I write fanfiction, mostly. I’m not the best with original plots, but I make original characters and sidestory fanfics to go with them like crazy. My brother is better at creating villain groups, cool weapons, and that sort of thing than I am. But I like writing little picture books (5 published already), and I’ve done a few essays.

    Also,…[Read more]
