Prayers for the race of the Connecticut River today, for me, my crew (CLCR), and all the other rowers participating.
Weather is upper 40’s, a little chilly, and it might rain so we do have a possibility of hypothermia on the water if people don’t dress right. Plus it’s a river, and if anyone knows the Connecticut river, a very dirty one, so…[Read more]

I’m a young-earth creationist.

Ah, this question.
I believe in a young earth, both scientifically and personally.
What is amazing to me is looking back at what we can figure out of how the Earth formed, and how that aligns with Scripture if you let Earth be young (Genesis 1 is shockingly scientific, so to speak).
(Plus, the Geologic record…there are some…[Read more]

You can do it! I would love to see it when it’s done, if you want to share, and if that helps give motive.
(But I totally get what you mean. I have a drawing I’ve been slowly working on, off and on, for about a year. All I have left are her feet and half her hair, but it’s still sitting on my desk, unfinished.)

Girl! That is so beautiful. I love it. The colors make a lot of sense. The moon is lovely, as are the leaves and his expression, in my opinion. I feel like I can really envision him now. My mental image has been edited. 😀 Thank you for sharing!

I’m gonna say that the wall on Gabriel’s side is like the rest, while on Barnes’s side it had that paper texture since Whaley said it was magic.
The Protector—Gabriel
Gabriel punched the wall again in frustration when he heard no reply from Barnes. It hurt, but he didn’t really care. Even from the…[Read more]

Alright, I have it!
I wasn’t sure how I wanted to do the background and stuff, so I did his face first. I did a pale cream layer and then went over it with light purples because I was going to make the night sky have a purple tint. I ended up kinda hating it, both the idea for…[Read more]

Okay, I can smooth out the shifts,
Ah, thanks for the grammar catch.
I like how the soldier tries to get Julian and Leon to admit they’re traitors, and finally he’s just like, well, you’re the guys who defected, so there.

I don’t even know who to tag in this conversation. XD I loath sluggs. They’re cute in theory, but they also creeped me out as a little child. I struggle with slimey/sticky things already, so they just aren’t my thing. Lol.
My mother likes Banana slugs though. She has a sticker with one on it beside the name of her home state. (It’s a cute…[Read more]
