@jenwriter17 Go ahead! 😉 I’m in the process of majorly updating our ministry website, so I’m creating and organizing enough pages there. 😛
Poor, poor Rin. I ate all my chocolate, but I’ll send her my deepest sympathy in its stead.
Well, since I am not a medical type of person I really don’t know what’s wrong with Uncle Bill, (I just put a n…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 I’m on, but it looks like we need a new Writers’ Corner! 😛 It just threw me back to the first page with my last post, which means it’s nearly reached the limit, I guess.
How’s Rin bearing up?

@ariel-ashira Thanks! Yes, I’d heard before that Frank Peretti’s other books were really bad. This confirms that previous information. 🙂 So don’t worry, I won’t be looking them up!
The Cooper Kids books are definitely amazing, though. Do you have a favorite?
And are you writing?

@ashlyvye That’s a very funny idea! 🙂
Wouldn’t you say a ten-year-old would be just a little smarter than that, though? If he was two, or even five, I could understand his parents not telling him what happened, but at ten that seems a bit far fetched to me. Especially since it’s not a recent thing, but the brother was gone for two whole yea…[Read more]

Ah, okay. No worries then 🙂
Yeah you might be. The footage is quite awful though. Okay, I’ll look that one up next!
I do like him, I’ve always liked the servant and master turned into friends sort of thing.

@seekjustice Yes, I got the invitation, but it was right after I’d left to go to the conference. We were pulling out in the car about two minutes away from the house, actually. 😛 So I’ve finally been able to open it since we just got home and I’m trying to read it a little now, but I’m pretty tired and sleepy so I might have to take a nap f…[Read more]

Ah, okay, that’s good. I’m glad 🙂 did you get the invitation to p4 ( I never know if those things actually work for some reason.)
@jenwriter17 I did it! I convinced Rochellaine!
Yeah, I bet it would be a pretty awful job. I can’t even imagine what it would be like!
Well, it has a visual with it, but its awful, all you can see are…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yes, I like Zac. I told you I always fall for the sidekicks. 😉
Well, yes. Still not for the first book, but I do like them in this book. 😀
Ah, well, I do dislike the prince’s too argumentative stance toward his parents. Cinderella is much better, in that she agrees to leave him for the good of the kingdom. So, I don’t like tha…[Read more]

I literally have no idea what he looks like, but I’ll take your word for it 🙂 At first?? Hmm, does that mean you like Zac now?
By the way, have I managed to win you over to Chessy and Justice yet, or do I need to try harder?
It was What Has Love Got To Do With Being Married. I have listened to the whole thing yet but I like all…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh no! Don’t go there. The prince’s cousin is ugly. 😛 Zac is supposed to be handsome. But yesssss…he’s really annoying, arrogant, and affected, just like Zac was at first. 😉
Well, I guess it could be one of two songs that you were listening to. What Has Love Got to Do With Getting Married? or A Bride Finding Ball. Which…[Read more]

I haven’t read any of his adult ones, though they do sound quite interesting.
Ooh, interesting. I should have a look for that version!
Nope, I haven’t heard of that one. But yes, Around the World in Eighty Days is really good!
True. Sometimes I forget that I’m not a normal teenaged girl.
I know, its hilarious! I’m also super…[Read more]

@seekjustice We don’t have either of the Princess and the Goblins books, but I’ve read the synopses of them online. I actually watched the Shirley Temple show version of the Princess and the Goblins and loved it. It’s really funny. It’s not quite like the book, but it’s really very good. The books by him I’ve read are more mature fantasy boo…[Read more]

No I don’t really think there’s much connection, its just the connotations.
I just remember that Franm Peretti terrified me and I’ve never gone near him since
As for MacDonald, I’ve only read the Princess and the Goblins and the Princess and Curdie, but I love those two books 🙂
I haven’t read that Verne book, it seems. Which one…[Read more]

@seekjustice I think I researched the Seven Sleepers myth once, too, but not extensively. 🙂 It’s been a while since I read those books.  But…they really don’t have anything to do with the myth except the name, right?
I was literally trembling the whole way through the Cooper Kids The Door in the Dragon’s Throat when I read it probably fiv…[Read more]

Let’s just assume they are 😉
I’ve never finished either of those series, i researched the actual Seven sleepers myth and was so creeped out i never went back.
I also read one of the Cooper kid stories but it also terrified me. I know I wouldn’t find it scary now, but the memory has been tainted and I’d never be able to enjoy it.…[Read more]

@seekjustice Dunno. Never been to mission conferences. 😛 They’re probably similar, but I really have no idea.
Well, I really loved the Chuck Black Kingdom series when I read it a few years ago, and I also loved the Gilbert Morris Seven Sleepers series, even though the latter has a lot of plothole or timeline confusions between the different b…[Read more]
