Yes, I agree; Biblical fiction is a weighty challenge to take on. The amount of research and study that has to go into it is one of the reasons I’m holding off on trying it. I want to make sure I have the basic writing skills down before I try to write something that hard. 😉 Hence, Biblical retellings! Since it’s a retelling, I hav…[Read more]

That sounds very therapeutic and highly enjoyable. I approve. XD
Oof, yes, I get that. Same here. I need to finish my novel by the end of July, so I’ve got to figure out how to balance that and starting work full time(ish). When does work start for you? Where are you working?

A lot of my story ideas are either Biblical fiction or fantasy retellings of Bible stories. 😉
- Judges 6-8 meets Treasure Island. In other words, this is Gideon with pirates. XD This is also my current WIP that I’m writing as part of the Author Conservatory, and I’m IN LOVE. I’ll make a post and share about it somewhere.
- The book of Esther…

Once again, I come prancing in several months late… *facepalm*Aww, I can understand that. If you ever get the chance to join, though, I can’t recommend the program highly enough! I’ve only been a part of it for 4 months, and I already feel like I got my money’s worth. 😆
And thank you! I just got graduated to drafting last we…[Read more]

Yes, I am responding two months late… I’m so sorry!
Hey! I’m doing well! 😀 I joined The Author Conservatory in January, and that has been beyond amazing! The novel I’m working on for that is a retelling of the story of Gideon but with pirates. 😉
How are you? What have you been working on?

A fortnight ago, by happenstance, I stumbled back upon my old, abandoned village here in the Kingdom of Pen. As I gazed upon the empty landscape, run-down buildings, and the sun sinking into the horizon, something wasn’t quite right. In fact, there was something terribly wrong. The same feeling you get when you go on a roadtrip, and then wonder…[Read more]

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I haven’t heard about any changes or seen any announcements. Granted, I haven’t been very active either.
Most of the crew that was active when I started isn’t around much anymore. The activity is mostly carried on by the latest members. I haven’t seen Isabelle or Kaitlyn or Natalie or Gracie…[Read more]

Poor Jon… :’(
I actually haven’t worked with Adrian much, so I don’t know him very well yet (That sounds absolutely ridiculous, but since you’re a writer, I’m sure you’ll understand😂). From what I know now, he’s very loyal and protective. He’d rather be anywhere (read: hunting, dueling, riding, shooting (his bow), etc.) than the th…[Read more]

That’s totally fair! There are book I can’t get into either (the current book being “North and South,” which I’m reading for school… *sigh*).
