Lin replied to the topic Anyone else feeling tired and unworthy? in the forum General Writing Discussions 5 years, 3 months ago
@joy-caroline I’m sure everyone feels this way! You’re not alone!
What I would recommend is probably taking a break! Explore some of your other interests or hobbies. I remember two years ago after NaNoWriMo I didn’t write anything for four months straight. We all need breaks. I’ll probably overwork myself at some point, but you know. If you’re…[Read more]

@godlyfantasy12 Ah thank you! I visualized this scene as a comic before I wrote it, haha, but my art skills are very rusty, so I decided to try my best writing it instead.
Wow, yours is really good! I love the way you explain everything without info dumping! I always have trouble with that.

@godlyfantasy12 Sure, sure. Sounds fun! I guess I’ll post the beginning snippet of Those Who Were Given Another Yesterday…
A black cat wrapped its tail around the sign pole, and as it passed by, it disappeared into the shadows.
Luona was on his way home from work today. He was tired, and he had been for a long time, and it showed with those…

@issawriter7 Ahh thank you! I always love your enthusiasm, haha. I usually try to find 2 or 3 quotes and then some pictures to represent them or what they do, and then move them around til they look good, and then add filters over them. It’s pretty fun; usually do it while listening to something.

Here’s one for Friedrich, of the same organization that Nathan is in…I think I’ll do all twelve of them sometime soon. Nice to have a set.

Lin replied to the topic What is giving you the most joy & the biggest headache in your WIP? in the forum Topic of the Week 5 years, 3 months ago
@kathleenramm Headache? For my written one, I guess, my main headache is that I never plotted anything. So it feels like kinda that I’m riding down a hill on an out-of-control bike.
Biggest joy? That I’m actually getting it done. I’m glad to train my writing muscle to handle that much writing every day.

What in your current WIP is bring the most joy, and what is bringing you the biggest headache?
So I have multiple WIP going on at the moment, but I’ll talk about the most latest story I’ve just started with 3 of my siblings, because I’m most excited about it at the moment. XDOkay, with lots of new projects, the most exciting thing is all the new…[Read more]

Ooh, Luner Chronicles! It’s been awhile since I’ve read it, but I remember really enjoying them. I think I read Cinder in one day. XD Do you have any favorite characters from the series? Which book is your favorite?
Your friend is so talented! Do you ever write stories together?

@joy-caroline You with To Kill a Mockingbird reminds me of how @gracie-j is with Gone With the Wind. And personally, I would be like that with East of Eden if I wasn’t so worried about content XD

@ribbonash My favorite part would be the moment when you finish drafting a project! It feels so satisfying, and it’s lovely to take a break before editing!
I really value endings for stories! Endings and prose. I think that the ending can make or break a book for me.
Oh yes! QOTW is honestly one of the best threads! I look forward to it every…[Read more]

@ribbonash Reading is lit! I don’t blog, but I know several people on here who do!
Those are a lot of books! I’ve read maybe 3 or 4 of them and heard of most. Hope Ann is great! I’ve talked to her sometimes online. And Disney is quite classic. Marvel I have not gotten really into, but a lot of my friends love it.
I love ice cream and cheesecake!…[Read more]

Ahh I finally made an aesthetic for Thirteen Ways to Infinity…it took me very long because there’s so much to cover and I wasn’t sure what elements fully represented it…

Hey! Welcome to the forum!
I checked of the Writer’s Nook website, and it looks amazing! Did you start it or did you join later on? I’d love to hear the story behind the blog.
