That’s so cool! I’m too old, but I’ll tag some more people so they can tag some more people, and so on. 😉

@issawriter7 Oo, I love this! Just one question: is the genie actually a teenager or does she just look like a teenage girl?

@joy-caroline I can totally understand that. But the awesome thing is, the more broken we are/feel, the more God can step in to fill in for our shortcomings. You don’t have to feel the overwhelming pressure, because if you ask God to guide you and your words and help you do your best with this story, you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that…[Read more]

@kathleenramm I’d say that I pants most of my works to a certain degree, but this is the one I definitely went the least with plotting on. When I started it I literally went, “I dunno what’s happening. Let’s find out.”

@lewilliams Wow, I love this bit! I really want to know more about your book!

@lewilliams Thank you so much! I’m really glad you like it! Ahh yes I tried to strike many questions that may or may not be answered here…XD
@scripter-of-kingdoms Whoa, that dialogue is very emotional! I always have trouble with scenes like this…but you pull it off so nicely!

@joy-caroline I’m sure everyone feels this way! You’re not alone!
What I would recommend is probably taking a break! Explore some of your other interests or hobbies. I remember two years ago after NaNoWriMo I didn’t write anything for four months straight. We all need breaks. I’ll probably overwork myself at some point, but you know. If you’re…[Read more]

@godlyfantasy12 Ah thank you! I visualized this scene as a comic before I wrote it, haha, but my art skills are very rusty, so I decided to try my best writing it instead.
Wow, yours is really good! I love the way you explain everything without info dumping! I always have trouble with that.

@godlyfantasy12 Sure, sure. Sounds fun! I guess I’ll post the beginning snippet of Those Who Were Given Another Yesterday…
A black cat wrapped its tail around the sign pole, and as it passed by, it disappeared into the shadows.
Luona was on his way home from work today. He was tired, and he had been for a long time, and it showed with those…

@issawriter7 Ahh thank you! I always love your enthusiasm, haha. I usually try to find 2 or 3 quotes and then some pictures to represent them or what they do, and then move them around til they look good, and then add filters over them. It’s pretty fun; usually do it while listening to something.

Here’s one for Friedrich, of the same organization that Nathan is in…I think I’ll do all twelve of them sometime soon. Nice to have a set.

Lin replied to the topic What is giving you the most joy & the biggest headache in your WIP? in the forum Topic of the Week 5 years, 3 months ago
@kathleenramm Headache? For my written one, I guess, my main headache is that I never plotted anything. So it feels like kinda that I’m riding down a hill on an out-of-control bike.
Biggest joy? That I’m actually getting it done. I’m glad to train my writing muscle to handle that much writing every day.

@joy-caroline You with To Kill a Mockingbird reminds me of how @gracie-j is with Gone With the Wind. And personally, I would be like that with East of Eden if I wasn’t so worried about content XD
