(TW- mentions of blood, wounds, murder of a child)
Chapter 15
Roger
Pressing cloths against the wound tightly, I checked her pulse. Hands shaking, I could still feel it faintly. It’s okay. She just went unconscious. She’ll be okay. Right?
My heart slamming in my chest, my breath tight against my ribs disagreed. Pictures flashed in my mind, pic…[Read more]

(TW- Pain? suffering? a bad injury)
Chapter 14
X392
Pain.
Pain surrounded me.
Pain shooting from my shoulder, burning, stinging like it was ripping me apart. Black dots clouded my vision, panic shaking my body, not understanding what had and was happening.
All I could feel was pain. Pain, and hot blood on my back. The hard floor against…[Read more]

Yay! I always love the scene clips from your books!
As for how to move on, it seems like the scene is ready to move into action/ active discription (I have no idea what the real term for that is). Having something happen such as someone/something bump into her could be a good transition, or saying something like “She wove…[Read more]

Actually, I don’t think I’ll have time tomorrow. Instead I’ll probably post it next week, so there’s still a challenge slot open if anyone wants it.

Ooo, I’m the Director…Bwahahaha…
Sounds good to me.
I may submit a challenge tomorrow, if y’all are fine with that. It would probably be for two weeks as I won’t be able to be steady on here untill sometime June.

I find doing a character brain dump helps a lot with fleshing out who this character is within my mind while also helping me get ideas going. So like taking a few pieces of paper, and without restriction or too much thought, freely writing down anything and everything that comes into my head about this character.
Appearance,…[Read more]

THAT’S AWESOME!!!! Congratulations. I’m looking forward to (maybe someday?) reading it.
And of course we love your characters; they’re quite lovable. (other than the villains, of course, but then we like disliking them.)

YESSSSSS!!!!! I need something like this oh, so much.
I really like those challenge ideas too. (WFS! Maybe Green Ember, or even some of the classics like Pride and Prejudice.) We could even illustrate a verse! I mean, I get very vivid mental images for verses a lot, and drawing can be a form of…[Read more]
