Oh, having reread North! Or Be Eaten I can say I enjoyed it much more this time around and I’m not sure why I didn’t like it as well the first time? It features a culture I enjoyed, more character development for Tink and Artham (a couple of my favorites), and several other fun additions (to the characters, world, and conflict). @joy-caroline I usually write from beginning to end of a book unless there’s a pressing scene I wanna write, though those scenes aren’t necessarily in chronological order. It just gives me a better sense of progression than jumping around, though ofc you’re free to do whatever you want.

@microphage6032 It’s about a guy who’s brother becomes a serial killer so he goes out to find him, but the only problem is everyone thinks he’s his brother. A retelling of the prodigal son, Cain and Abel, etc. It’s set on a different planet and there’s some things here and there but otherwise not too many sci-fi elements in it.

@ava-blue Yea, I have a cyberpunk AU for one, and school AUs for others, but I only really work on them when I’m super bored.

@microphage6032 Sounds a little like Cells at Work, heh. Right now I’m working on a sci-fi novel, though I wouldn’t necessarily call it full sci-fi or my main genre.
