Ducktator, did you see that note I added on the idea of using a slave to push Alan in the direction of trusting and obeying The Saviour? What are your thoughts on that?
I’m not sure. I see how it would help your story, and it’s an interesting perspective to take. My main concern would be people thinking you support slavery. I…[Read more]

awesome! Glad I could be of help.
I think we’re all a little defensive of our stuff. 😂
I remember when you kept criticizing Aaron I was crushed because he’s a lot like me and I felt like you were criticizing me and saying I was a cardboard cutout. It took a few weeks for me to separate myself from him and see your cri…[Read more]

As a reader, is this a direction you would be satisfied to see the story take?
Yes
What do you think of the character development you see in this (specifically for Alan, Martha, Eric, and Cyrus)?
Seems solid.
Now that you’ve seen some more, what are your thoughts on the similarities between Eric and Kalmar?
I think it’s d…[Read more]

i really love the direction.
character development seems good and solid. But it’s hard to know that from just reading an outline.
again, it all depends on how you play it, but I was feeling Eustace and dragon change more than Kalmar and wolf. (Even though it is a wolf) I think you’re fine and should go for it. I can let you…[Read more]

I like this much better. I feel more comfortable, but it also plays into the allegory style better. (At least  in my opinion)
my only suggestion (besides fine combing because there were a few typos) is old be this paragraph.
I do not know what Alan thought as he used the spell, so instead of telling you that, let’s say he in…

thank you both for the sympathy and prayers!!
Great timing!
thank you!! I was proud of that one. 😂
oh dear! I hope you end up liking Roland then. 😅
I promise it was completely coincidental.

Thank you for the resources!
I come from a photographer’s family, so we have actually used Adobe PhotoShop for years. Unfortunately, the license went out of date and we got to find out why so many people grump about it. O.O
I’ve heard about ProCreate from a calligraphy site I follow too. I might look into it.

Being an illustrator is one of my ambitions as well. I’ve never been commissioned to do anything yet. I did talk to one publishing company… but my art style did not fit the needs of the author they have…. (Once I have a few interior illustrations for my book that I am satisfied with, I will send them over to this company a…

Okay, little UPDATE y’all.
We had a death in the family. (don’t worry, not someone I even met before. He was on my dad’s side of the family and they’re all messed up.) Anyhow, due to craziness and the fact that my dad is the only sane person on that sid…[Read more]

Hmm, I don’t like the sound of “convincing” people of God or sin or any other such thing.
But I do agree that our sin is a big factor.
I can add a little bit more in there though.

However, I have also gotten far enough to determine something else. Due to some things such as the romance, I don’t think am in the target audience for your story. I am no longer going to read this. This does not mean your story is bad, it just means that it’s not for me and I think others will be able to give you better fee…

A cruelly twisted game. They wanted to brake Ardenta. They cut them off from their land for no good reason but to break their spirits. To see Joseph and the others give would be more rewarding than killing them. The people of the Empire have a lot of interesting beliefs about death and dying with honor and such, and seeing…[Read more]

wow! Long reply. A little intimidating……
Interesting. I like these ideas. I think I shall certainly use some of them! I like that gentle yet firm approach. It’s a good idea.
Huh. I think this is one of the only times I bring up Adrain….. but I may be wrong. Oh I totally agree that other religions can have…[Read more]

Okay…. so here is where I hit a slight problem. Leon and Julian use a very different script which is how you tell their writing apart. However, those fonts don’t transfer. So, I’ll italicize anything Julian writes, and have anything Le…[Read more]
